Hi Mukesh, Thank you so much for guiding us. I have one query There are 4 mandatory fields on application. I am updating the data using PUT method, however I am just send one field in my request still it is accepting. is this a defect?. If no then what is difference between PUT and PATCH method apart from PUT can be used to create the data

one question can you send for example 'address' would it still go through or just needs to be 'name,job'? i mean if backend developer did not ask for 'address' and you still send it, would backend developer see it there ?

Hi Waleed, while sending payload some fields are mandatory and some are optional. If you send anything else which is not mapped then server can reject request. For example if you send tool as Selenium if tool is not mapped then it will reject.

I was following a tutorial that is a bit aged now and it was using an older version of postman. Now it has changed quite a bit and I didn't know how to use it.
My API was getting null object all the time. Spent some time in stack overflow with solution that did not appear to be a reasonable solution. I was pretty sure I was not using Postman properly.
My instant answer is what you explain at 5:14 for how to add key value pairs from JSON.
