It was dusk and we were walking along the dirt road back to the house when we felt raindrops falling. Then suddenly it was pouring and we ran into the barn close by. We shared laughs and as our heart rates calmed down got to talking and wanted to dance. We put on this song and slow danced and when we turned I could see the drops through the crack between the barn doors and through the windows panes. We rested our foreheads together, both wishing the moment would never end.
(This is the first time I’ve posted something like this so be nice please lol)

Thank you for this. I grew up in a tropical country where it rains all the time, and I just moved to the US, and the lack of rain has been making me really depressed, and the vibes just reminded me of when I was growing up and I'd be listening to Hozier during storms.
Came back to say that I still listen to this when I am trying to ground myself. There are few things more calming than picturing myself in my childhood bedroom with the windows cracked open during a tropical rainstorm, Hozier playing in my room and the sound of my family laughing just outside. Hope you know how appreciated this edit is

This reminds me of all the nights playing this song from my car speakers while sitting on my car in the rain
this fits purfectly in one of my books im trying to write
theres a fox species named foturnm where on contact with water they're fur turns to smooth skin like scales basically, they become water foxes, and one day Willow (main character) is captured by a fox from another Family (group of foxes) where her real father is and he is the leader of the family. Her original family comes to fight for her and in the fight her mother dies. Thinking its her fault she flees, and goes down the Great Sycamore, the portal to earth. Her 'father' who had raised her to think he was her father follows her, he really did love her mother and he blames her for her death. He lunges at her, wanting to kill but Willow but she pushes him away, into the water which would normally just change him to the water form. But he changes to a kulugi, a lizard like creature who hold grudges badly, kulugis can take form of any animal as long as they have tasted thier blood. Willow asks him what he is and why he was in her Family, he explains that her real father had a brother, Oak, (who he was in the form of) and that oak and he were friends and one day oak wanted to cut ties with him and no longer wanted to be friends, so he, being a kulugi, got horribly angry and killed him, alowing him tpo take oaks form. Willow is upset by this and runs through the portal, ending up in earth. There she is near a lake and a camping site, this is where she saves the other main character(theres alot of main characters) Austin, a human from drowning in the lake by swimming his sinking kanoe back to shore before running off. Later she saves him again from a rockfall during his hike. She then talks to him asking why she had to save him twice now, he is shocked ofc by the fox talking, but willow is confused and so austin explains that animals on earth do not talk to humans-can not. she ends up going home with him and stays with his family, with their 10y old shabby mutt who likes to yap 24-7. One of her Family members shows up, beaten badly. He exlpains that Vercalen, the kulugi, has taken over and is abusing his power, searching for Willow. So she and austin have to journey to the portal, a large oak tree, and on the way they meet the other main characters, Alice, a black cat with leaping powers, Meadow, a wolf with speed powers, Wyn a fox whos head,feet and tail are the only things visible, Milo, a eagle with strength, and Lucy, a husky dog who can grow her fangs larger. And the way this song fits perfectly is that Willow is traumatized by her mothers death and austin, not wanting to push into her past, offers his support but does not ask Willow for her sotry, mearly just pointing out that she can come to him if she wants :D lemme know if i should do a part 2
