This is a rom hack of Pokemon Crystal I made.
Features:
-All 251 Pokemon replaced with Digimon
-Fairy type
-Physical-Special split
-Running shoes
-Most HMs replaced with key items
-Forgettable HM moves
-Evolution parameters included in each Dex entry
-Increased difficulty and improved level scaling
-Convenient mart items
-All Digimon available in-game

Also, is there a database where we can see every digimon's moveset and what TMs and HMs they can learn? It would really come in handy to make multiple builds for every player's favorite Digimon.

I don’t know why they called Anomalocarimon Scorpiomon like it doesn’t even look like a scorpion and it’s a prehistoric fossil of all creatures

1: Do you have paperwork with this rom hack that gives more details about the Digidex? Such as what digimon digivolve to what and their locations? I know this video shows evolutions in order but its a little hard to constantly reference. It's ok if you don't!
and then 2! What made you go with Digi Gear instead of Digivice? Just to avoid confusion and keep to the original Pokegear name? It's a great choice, don't get me wrong! I was just curious ^~^
3! There's multiple Final Forms listed. How do you go about which one you digivolve to?

Thanks for your interest! Included in the download link is an excel document that lists all Digimon, their location, typings, Base Stat totals, how to evolve them, etc.
Oh and the name DigiGear just came from editing all instances of the word "Poke" to "Digi."
HEYYYYYYYY! Lately i'm all invested in Digimon Rom Hacks and suddenly find this super epic one too!!! love anyway how you added some uncommon ones like MasterTyrannomon and Azulongmon and fixed some lines lke Tuskmon to Triceramon. It's a sad thing anyway, no one ever added Entmon, Manticoremon, Toropamon, SkullBaluchmon, Tobucamon, Yanmamons, MudFrigimon and such. Could you do such here?? ^^
SkullBaluchimon is present in this hack. And I included Toropiamon and Yanmamon in my other two hacks, Digimon Nova Red and Digimon Emerald. Check my channel for details. :)
You should make a wiki showing all of the moves and stats every digimon has.
A wiki is a bit much, but I can post their base stats and movepools in a text document if there's a demand for it.

In a game with a limited dex you should have cut out the baby and in-training forms to make more room for digimon.

Move relearner is before Golden Rod, where the daycare couple used to be.
This looks amazing! Gen 2 is my fav gen so I may give it a shot(just sad theres no Megidramon and Dorumon Dorugora line)

I know I'm extremely late to the party but I can't help but notice that gulus gammamon wasn't added. Seems odd as the digi destined have there alt evos yet gammamon only has one?

I’m playing this now and my lvl 100 War Greymon evolved to freakin Omnimon and I have never been more excited. Even though the dex for War Greymon is its final form it still evolved again! It makes me want to get every Digimon to 100 lol
Haha you found the game's hidden mon! But spoiler: only WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon will evolve at level 100 (into Omnimon). For everyone else, the dex is telling the truth.

I LOVE this rom! It’s literally the Digimon rom I’ve always wanted! I’m new to emulation and have a quick question: I saw the game was updated recently. Do I need to do anything to get the update on my current save file?
Glad you're enjoying it! Your old save file (.sav) will work with the new updated rom file (.gbc) Just as long as you keep the file names the same. :)
Do I need to move the save file “into” the new rom file? Again, new to emulation and have never dealt with this before! 😂
Open the folder where you keep your .sav files and .gbc files. Delete the old gbc file and replace it with the new gbc file.
I can't find woodmon and pumpmon. Where are they?
Dang, got super happy when we got Bibimon, but slightly sad it was not made to go mega (Kazuchimon) haha

Hi, I'm really enjoying this game, have like 90+ hours on it.
I have a problem with Golemon to evolve it into Rusttyranomon, it says in level 50 but I am at 52 and the cinematic to evolve appears, but it stays the same Golemon, maybe some help to evolve it?
Btw, nice job on the game, I passed the rom to a lot a friends and they are playing with me.
Glad you're enjoying it! Just checked Golemon now and there's no problem. Are you playing the most up-to-date version?

With the new version I have another problem, ExTyranomon don't evolve at lvl 25 nor with rocks, the animation don't pop up :')
I have a slightly technical question: do the different sides of the Dark Cave have different encounter tables?
I'm curious if I'd be wasting my time looking for LadyDevimon pre-Falkner
They do. You won't be able to nab a LadyDevimon until you enter from the Blackthorn side.

@@TheGuzeinbuick Not sure if someone already reported this through the proper channels, but it appears Arukenimon is set to evolve into ExTyranomon by level up (probably due to a non-modified Quilava -> Typhlosion evolution)

Amazing job. I'm currently playing Digimon Crystal version & it's honestly amazing. I tried playing Emerald but I was getting lots of text glitches & when my starter already had 4 moves & wanted to learn a 5th to replace one of the 4, it deletes the wrong move & glitches out crazy. Is there a fix to this?
Did you download the game from here? And are you using the right emulator?
@@TheGuzeinbuick I downloaded it from the pokemoncommunity site & I know nothing about emulators but I dragged them all onto my Trimui smart pro. Crystal works fine & so does the trading card game. But emerald glitches & red nova doesn't even load up

I have them all downloaded and im enjoying them but plz can you fix dorumon like you did impmon and not need the mega stone cause alphamon is one of my all time favorites and im afraid of using him cause i did the mega evo then it turn back to its first form while i was play emerald and i haven't touched it cause i don't if its going to keep happening to were i have re evolve him back to dorumon just to use alphamon
@@danielewing3696 In Emerald, Dorumon's warp digivolution into Alphamon consumes so much energy that he reverts back into Dorimon after the fight. Give it enough EXP to gain a level and it will evolve back into Dorumon, allowing you to use the Warp Digivolution again if you please. It's a cost-benefit analysis.

I actually apprecuate the inclusion of Monzaemon, Waruminzaemon, Sukamon, Etemon and MetalEtemon. So many of these sprites look kinda awkward in a funny way like old Pokemon sprites too.
Love your game so far but I’m having trouble getting pumpmon and magnamon not sure how to get them any ideas?
Try different Digi Eggs on Lalamon and Veemon, respectively.

It's a very good game but, needs rare candies cheat to buy in digi-mart though... I think would be better and stuck in digimon crystal version...

Lol you stole my digimon rom hack idea that was for pokemon crystal although i didnt announce it and no work has been dont on it but i thinks its a funny coincidence
🤣🤣 Yeah it's not the most original idea in the world but no one else actually bothered to try it (besides some Korean rom hacker a few years ago if I recall correctly)

do they have alternative evolution lines like in the vpets?
Some have, you can see some entries which have two parameters for evolving (level and stone mostly) that indicate that some Digimon have alternative evolutions. How powerful is each alternative is unknown without a proper guide but cool nonetheless

@@tatsudragneel4761It wouldn't take super long but it's oddly specific. The names are all stored on a simple text document so it's easy to edit.
If you want I can send you the text document, you edit it on notepad, and then you send it back to me. Then I can compile a special version of the game and send it to you.

Sure, but when making a game you have to take a few liberties with the source material to ensure a balanced and consistent experience.

@@TheGuzeinbuick Being your romhack, i will not say you should replace any. But i can tell you that i just don't understand the choice of wasting one of the 251 spaces with this "Tamagotchi". Then again, haven't played the whole rom so i don't know what purpose does it have in the game.
@@KuzuriGamesUnown are unique, ancient Pokemon. Tamagotchis felt like a fun analog.
@@TheGuzeinbuick I get the point. But i believe it would be more "lore accurate" (wink wink) if it were Digielves or Digignomes instead if that was the case. Then again, it's your romhack so it's up to you. I understand the 251 slots limitations.
In fact, speaking about that last. There was a FireRed romhack that had around 700+ Digimon, and each could evolve in different things depending on their stats or evolution items. I know it's a lot of work, but if it's possible to use that romhack as a base you think you could improve it with your own touch? I may disagree with some evolution lines or required levels to evolve, but the sprites are great and the movesets work pretty much fine in most of your romhacks.
@@KuzuriGames If you check my channel you can see that I also made a Digimon rom hack of Fire Red called "Digimon Nova Red." It has 350 Digimon. Not quite 700+, but I aimed for quality over quantity. :)
