Things don't get settled down after Ibrahim Pasha's death.
Hürrem understands that Sultana Şah isn't a friend. She challenges her enemies after having Suleiman in her corner. She lays on entertainment in the harem as it's still being mourned for İbrahim Pasha. This drives Hatice to distraction. As Mihrimah gets disappointed by Yahya of Taşlıca's attitude, Malkoçoğlu Bali Bey returns in İstanbul. He informs Suleiman that it will be attempted to assassinate him. Hatice vows vengeance against Hürrem and gets Diana in the harem to kill her.
Hürrem understands that Sultana Şah has different aims and doesn't wait for too long to get her claws out. She lays on entertainment in a harem after a short time İbrahim died. Hatice loses her temper after learning this and comes into the harem to stop it.
Malkoçoğlu gets attacked on his way to the capital. However, he and his men manage to get over the attack. On the other hand, the effect of İbrahim's death continues. The Pope thinks that Suleiman is left alone and takes an action to end him.

Oh God, I was waiting for this scene! Sah deciding to do a full makeover of the palace while Hatice was away (replacing the European influences with traditional Ottoman) was not in any way alright.

Ibrahim was warned by Sulyman that his ego and power hungry behavior was becoming too much. Sulyman was angry with Ibrahim's assessment of; 'Sulyman as the lion and Ibrahim as the trainer.' That along with what Sulyman felt was the senseless execution of Iskender Celibe. In the end it seemed that Sulyman also viewed Ibrahim as untrustworthy when he found out about Ibrahim's affair behind Hatice's back. Sulyman's questions were; "What are you hiding from me?" This was because Ibrahim looked guilty ALL the time.

Bro, Ibrahim cheated on his Sultans' sister, whom he also had children with. And then consistently went over Suleiman's warnings of greed causing his downfall like nothing. Made thrones for himself, sculptures of himself...

@@galaxygirl7 yes to me Nurgul (older Kosem) was a QUEEN. Impeccable acting, very sassy and regal yet human and not exaggerated. Meryem was very entertaining to watch but she never had that regal sultana vibe…
