From what I’ve heard, college admissions officers usually take into account context, as in whether you were in a situation where you didn’t have clubs or roles of leadership available, but you should still do an extra effort to get into some extracurriculars, even if it’s outside of your school.
Another good one not in this is JROTC. It looks great on job applications, college applications, and gets you leadership skills which are good to get into Ivy League schools. For those of you who don’t know JROTC, It’s a Program run during school, it takes up an elective spot, (and counts for a gym credit) and is fun. You do Community Service, and learn real world skills that you will use, unlike skills learned in other classes. JROTC. 10/10 Program, Would do again. However few people get access to it as it’s only at certain schools.
I just wanna say this video really helped me because it kinda showed me even if you have straight A’s if you don’t really care and or put effort into your studies and clubs then your practically on the same level of someone who goofs off in classes all day this also applies to people who are somewhat and or fully anti-social which can really take a toll on your time and may even grades In not just high school but at any point in your education!
In my normally weird county in my city and my shcool dint get any things called club, but my shcool was have an idea about that until the Corona get into my city
I’m a committed member of my schools running program (XC, winter/spring track) but the school is split into two campuses, meaning I have to ride a bus 45 minutes both ways to practice every single day of the school year. This means I literally cannot do clubs unless I miss a season. It’s a small school so there’s very limited options. Am I just screwed as far as clubs go?
Hey gohar can you please make a video about how to apply and what to prepare when applying for early admission in colleges like mit and harverd etc. Please it will help a lot
I joined Technology/Computing Club; cutting and sewing, scholar drafting, sports and Oral-and-Written presentation clubs were not that interesting for me.
Yk that leadership role? Well say for example you are going for student representative or something like that, people mainly go for the popular people trying so what would i do??
Hello! I recently made a club in high school that should help it. You know planting trees and making posters but I don't know what to do now. Would be nice if you can give some ideas!

@@technicalmaster-mind don't say asian as I said.
