Damn, I love Pantera. Dimebag was such an awesome guitarist. I never got into this album, I got stuck in "Far beyond driven" and then started listening some other kind of music, but this song is fucking good! I liked how Sori related the lyrics to her drug addict friend. The older one gets, the more one sees the consequences of drug addiction on people around... all that was fun and party and live the moment in the past becomes pain and dependence in the present. In my case I can say it feels great when you see how a friend who was ruining his life suddenly realizes what's going on and fights it. But that makes it sadder that all the ones who are still into shit... are still into it. Whatever. Life's hard.
Nice ! This is my first time watching your channel (subscribed) and I am born again , so I really like that talk thrown in . God bless you two . Its refreshing to hear on a channel like this .
16-18 years ago I was trying to build up my own melodic death metal music project that never ended up taking off, mainly due to the fact that I got busy with work and other things in life, but some of those recordings are still on youtube. The sound quality may not be the best, since I recorded and mixed everything on my own through Garage Band, but it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on it sometime. The band name is Yvangelynn and I'd suggest starting with either the song 'Carousel of Dreams' or 'A New Place', but there are others you could find as well. A song that went a bit viral was my metal cover of the famous 'Dragostea Din Tei', which you can check out as well.
Only morons that know nothing about the band believe Phil is a racist. Its non sense perpetuated by fools that dont do research, dont understand context and only read headlines, not the articles. Spare me the links, I've seen it all. You guys are all the same
Dug Pinnick of Kings X begs to differ on that matter. Having said that, there's no denying Phil went through a drug fueled edgelord phase where he was a douche in many ways.
