What happened
I got a pop up saying "You have viruses on this device (i was on my iPad) call this number" it was a 1-800 number so i thought it was legit. I called and this indian guy picked up the phone and told me to download this app. Then it said "connecting to max, would you like max to be able to edit, delete, or copy any file" and other stuff. So basically he was trying to hack into my computer. I noticed the message and i closed the window, hit cancel, and then i called apple to make sure he didn't hack into my computer which i he didn't.
Do you understand english? I said ALMOST GOT ME. I understood what they were doing at the last second and i closed the app, closed the website, and called apple to make sure nothing happened and nothing did happen.
