I would put this hair in medium twist and then squeeze shampoo through the hair (not rubbing). Also using a squeeze bottle with a pointed tip to add shampoo to ur scalp and massaging with your fingertips. ( if u want to wash your scalp) Then rinse it all out. Remember to squeeze the crochet. Do not rub. Then wrap with a tshirt or cloth to get excess water. And let hair air dry in the twist. You can use a cool dryer on ur scalp if u like. I hope this helps. ❤️

The ripple deep does have a texture but not as defined as the ocean wave.

My curls don't look like that
You have to make sure to split the hair and cutting it is important too. The less weight on the strand the more it curls.
