Unleash the Archers are a great power metal band. All the musicians are top tier and Britney Slayes really does Slay on vocals
Brittany 'Slays' ,(Hayes) is married to the drummer, Scott.
They are 'Power Metal' and hail from British Columbia in Canada.
They have a kid, too. Ponder for a moment the mind-shattering amount of musical talent that kid probably has from having THOSE parents.

Interesting fun fact, Brittney took up a challenge on RUclips from a classical artist to come on his channel and sing a classical piece - as she is classically trained she just got on with it and had fun! Secondly she took on the Beanboozled challenge on RUclips - if you’re not familiar with it look it up on RUclips 🌹🌹🌹

10:05 @lulu - that was the bass, hence only 4 strings, and it doesn't have a headstock and so is called headless, it does still have tuning pegs, but they're much smaller :)
I'm glad y'all enjoyed this track. It's a killer showcase of musicianship all around.
BTW, the guitar Lulu is talking about is a bass guitar without a headstock, where the tuning pegs are on the bottom instead. Also, if you listen closely, the drummer is actually playing 2 different rhythms with his feet. I couldn't tell you what they are, as I'm not that musically inclined, I just remember that detail from somewhere else.
One more thing: if you gals want another example of a great band with a female vocalist that has a married couple involved, check out the band Fireflight. The guitarist Glenn is married to the bassist Wendy, and Dawn is the woman on vocals.

If you want to hear their brand-new stuff, they've got two singles for their upcoming album, Pahntoma out now. The songs are: Green and Glass and Ghosts in the Mist.
...And they named her Brittany Slays, for that is what she does.
This so g is conceptually quite an interesting one. It’s about a warrior waking up after a 1000 year slumber to a whole new world.
And his story is continued through this whole album, and a second album call Abyss

Music and Music artist are like a time traveling machine into the past. The first drum was a hollow log, the first flute was made from bone. Nature, Animals and People learned to dance.

Two of my favorite songs of theirs is Legacy and General of the Dark Army. I don't remember what the other song you did of theirs is. The video for Faster Than Light is very fun/silly. There's no video for The Wind That Shapes the Land, but, boy oh boy, is that a good song. An epic song, even. It's from the same story, in fact this song is the begining and TWTStL is towards the end of the story (takes place over two albums). In fact, General of the Dark Army is the only one I mentioned that *isn't* from that story.😅💚🤘

Jasp, aodre the Drummer too. And He is also such an brave Male Human, just like Hannes van Dahl, bcs, bet you get it, both are married to Frontwoman(Hannes to Floor), but on Top He got it Level 1.5 bcs He is married to the Lady you just whitnessed:). So, not much Space for Mistakes:)

@Kathy, Lulu, and Donna: Three Generation Reactions: Hey, ladies! I think you're becoming part of the Archer Army, lol.
First, a recommendation I forgot the last time was a cover of Stan Rogers' 1981 classic, "Northwest Passage." A sea shanty-type song, Northwest Passage is considered by many Canadians to be "Canada's Second National Anthem."
Other covers Unleash the Archers have done:
1. Zombie by the Cranberries
2. Heartless World by Teaze
3. Queen of the Reich by Queensryche
That said, one of you mentioned the bass guitar of Nikko Whitworth, the band's bassist in this video. Nikko has what is called a "headless bass," as the tuning pegs, what gets turned to tune the strings, is behind the fretboard on the neck.
As for Scott, the drummer, he's not wearing actual socks, he's wearing a type of swimming shoe called an "Aqua Sock." Aqua socks allow the show to be very light, but still provide grip on the bottom of the foot -- as here, to the bass drum/kicker drum pedals.
Lastly, if you want to hear one of Brittney's old-school vocal influences, check out the 1982 live performance of singer Bruce Dickinson, when he first joined Iron Maiden and sang Hallowed Be Thy Name at the Hammersmith. Bruce, because of his breath control, became known as "The Human Air Raid Siren."

The intro is long because it's the first track on the album and, like a lot of power metal albums, it's a whole story. Each track is a different piece of that story. It's about an immortal being who is awakened to do the bidding of an evil queen called the Matriarch.

I would like to recomend "FAUN & ELUVEITIE - GWYDION", german Pagan Folk meets Swiss Folk Metal, another masterpiece for sure...
UtA is my alltime favorite band, so I dont want to recommend any specific song from them, you can pick literally any and you want be disappointed...
