A University of Wisconsin-Stout student pulled over for speeding last month near campus was rushing to give a presentation and didn’t know how to tie his necktie. According to the Menomonie Police Department, Officer Martin Folczyk spotted the student’s BMW speeding down 8th Street at 8:55 a.m. on the morning of Nov. 30 and initiated the stop. “I have to get a tie tied,” the driver said. “I have a presentation and I thought my buddy was home but he’s not, and I’m running behind.”
Before asking for his license and insurance, the officer asked the student for his tie, then loosely tied it around his own neck before handing it back. “While I do this, why don’t you grab your proof of insurance and your driver’s license real quick,” Officer Folczyk said. “Probably not the best knot, but it will work.” “Better than what I was going to do,” the student said. “Thank you so much.” The student was given a verbal warning. After seeing the video of the traffic stop, the police chief invited the driver back to the police station and taught him to properly tie his own tie.

Funny how people will say something is a fact but never present the fact. At any rate it's irrelevant to what I said. I said (had he been black) "he would have been shot when he go got out of the car like that." (just jumping out before the cop told him to) 99% chance he most certainly would have been shot. We've seen black men shot for far less movement than what this guy does. How can you deny that? Just look up the videos. There may well be more white men shot by police than black men as there are a lot more white men in the country than black men. That doesn't change what I said. Happy New Year ;-)

@flemaster12 I don't think you know what the news is supposed to be for. The news and their journalist are supposed to challenge the powerful and shed lights of issues in our communities so things change for the better, not show video of people doing their jobs correctly. News are not shows to teach people how to do their jobs. The news was average until the late 90's since they actually had journalist doing real report and investigation about serious issues and it took time because you had to get evidence and they used to tell you this is bad and this good. Then after they went to 24hrs news they lost all credibility since they just fired real journalist that did investigation for high pay news anchors who don't do any investigation and don't challenge power and just have people talking and arguing without calling lies out.

Now a days 99% of men don't as the new placed dresscode almost nobody ever wears a tie only see ties at weddings and major business meetings . Back in the 1970s 80s you were sent home if you work in an office and had no tie now it's gone 100% opposite nobody dresses in suits unless they're going to some really important business meetings or weddings

Guy getting pulled over said he was going fast to a friend's house to help him with his tie. Cop asked him to produce the tie. Guy immediately showed him the tie in question. If you're honest, true and polite with the police there will be no confrontation. As shown.
