One male was given a warning and told to leave the property. The second male (suspect) was found to have active warrants and, as officers conducted a search on him, they found a pistol concealed in his waistband. Officers attempted to place the suspect under arrest, but he pushed away from them and attempted to move his hands toward the pistol. Officers gave the suspect verbal commands not to do so and, as the struggled continued, one officer discharged a weapon and struck the suspect one time. Officers detained the suspect, removed the pistol from his waistband and provided medical assistance until Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived. The suspect was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. No officers were injured.

I'm just curious how do you consider him a monster... Possibly in a bad neighborhood? carrying a gun doesn't mean he's a monster.. Maybe he has a small record and can't legally get a concealed carry... He didn't pull the gun out.... he had warrants and wanted to get away... He might be a great guy... He just got killed for wiggling around too much.. Why couldn't they get the gun off him was it strapped on? tucked in his waistband? or was he actually holding it? You can't tell from the video.. If he was holding the gun and didn't release it he certainly was asking for it at that point...

@@LukeSumIpsePatremTe Lmao. Why would a cop talking to her dispatch need to disguise what she's saying? The real reason she said it like that imo is because she realized that two female cops still can't handle a tiny man if he decides to actually fight back so she was too embarrassed to say that officers need help and instead pretended like she was just being cautious or something. A female cop should never be partnered with another woman for this reason.
@@breckenridgelong7692 It is your opinion but I think she just likely was trying to spit out her call for help as fast as possible. When you are fighting someone with a gun I don't think you really care whether or not you're a female officer unable to restrain a suspect and getting other officers on scene as fast as possible is probably what you want.

They weren't even loitering. Loitering is pertinent to drug distribution, blocking traffic, prostitution, etc. If the Texas man realized he wasn't required to ID unless arrested, he might still be alive.
@@AGirlHasNoName1.618 Who says that's always safest? I've seen videos on YT where 2 females partnered have done just fine when they got into situations where the suspect refused to go to jail. In one of those vids, a female was working solo. The male suspect, bigger and stronger than her, found out he shouldn't ought to mess with her. She picked him up off his feet, then put him on the ground, by herself. Backup was still on the way. That proves that stereotypes are useless, a lot of times false and totally unfair to the person or persons they are used against. In all the YT videos I've watched, female officers do their job and do it just as good as their male counterparts. Granted, some shouldn't be cops BUT - the same is true for male officers.
They have no place in any job where they have to overpower people with 2-3x their muscle mass. Not on the police force, not in the secret service. Nowhere like that. PERIOD.

@@thetube8287 didn’t call shots fired, didn’t radio for backup or ambulance, put her gun pressed up against his body which can render it out of battery and useless, struggled HARD for control when it was 2 against 1, took too long to secure the gun after he was shot, never had control of the suspect until he had a bullet in him. Male cops probably wouldn’t have had to shoot him (not that anyone cares if he gets shot), just being honest.
@@n0questi0n There was a video about 3 years ago, maybe 4, where the woman officer literally couldn't physically stop the guy from beating his moms ass. She ended up having to hold him at gun point until a large male officer arrived. That’s correct, but this was a small guy, this is a perfect example for why women shouldn’t be cops in positions to arrest people, one man would’ve gotten this guy in cuffs without ever needing to touch his gun, tbh this guy wasn’t even fighting that hard either, I’ve seen female criminals put up bigger fights than this
@@xwr3ksh0pxyeah seems safer for both women and civilians if the female cops do desk work, traffic stuff, hell even detective work- but they don’t make great grunt cops
This is the result of two female officers paired up. If they have to go hands-on a suspect, it's way more likely they're going to use their weapon because even with two of them, it's going to be tough, if not impossible to fully control a large man. The dude in this video looked fairly strong, but wasn't large and all they could do was lay on him and shoot him.
The only reason they could cuff him is because he was shot. They would have both been on top of him until another officer arrived which is pretty ridiculous.
I might be missing something but dude didn‘t actively resist when she shot him. Actually it almost looked like a negligent discharge… Look at the bodycam of the short officer, both hands were visible and under control. Bruh.
Had to scroll way too far for this comment. Both hands were controlled, he wasn't making any attempt to reach down. I get it's a stressful situation, but damn, she was talking like she wanted to shoot him.
I thought the same thing, and I too am shocked no one else noticed this. I can’t say for certain, but it seemed like an ND to me. For all the reasons already mentioned, but also her tone was not what I’d expect. She was stressed and scared, and it came across as angry and frustrated - likely to mask her feelings. But to me it just seemed like she was trying to play it off as intentional. I don’t think this guy had to die over this. She made a lateral shot upwards through and across his abdomen. Either she was hoping to end this man in one shot, or she lost control of her fine motor skills while threatening and wrestling with him simultaneously. I find the latter easier to believe.
Example #5,367,903,167 why women shouldn't be in law enforcement. At least not in the field. Desk duty and dispatch, sure. But these 2 women couldn't overpower this guy even AFTER one of them had shot him. If the physical requirements have to be lowered for you to be able to do a certain thing you shouldn't be doing that thing.
*EXACTLY!!!* *WOMEN* should *NOT* be allowed to *PATROL BY THEMSELVES,* but especially *AT NIGHT/ HIGH CRIME AREAS *and definitely *NOT ARREST!!!* This is *IRRESPONSIBLE* and *BEGGING FOR DISASTER!!* They do *NOT* have the *PHYSICAL STRENGTH* to do so. She is dumb for even placing herself that close and exposing her gun to him to even be accesible. Her lack of spacial awareness almost got her and her parter killed.
The first officer made a mistake that could have been life threatening st the very beginning. She dropped he note pad and bent over right by the person she was investigating, to pick it up. You never bend over like that because someone can punt your head 50 yards. Thanks to my FTO for gigging me on this very thing when I was a rookie. It was a lesson learned that I never forgot, and I lived to see retirement.

They did get him into cuffs without any assistance, they were not injured, they saved taxpayers money, a female officer, who I lay money could could kick the shit out of at least half the dudes liking this comment, fired the fatal shot. Warned him and did it. Do you also judge make officers who call for backup, seems to happen in a majority of police videos. So how exactly did the male officers come in and save the day in your super-twisted view of what happened in this video? @@mpeasman Yes, my misogyny IS showing since I live in reality and I don't care at all if you call me that. In addition former LEO and service man here, so not just on the internet eating pizza and drinking mountain dew. I stand by what I sad, the incident was handled SUB-OPTIMAL. Again, my biggest points are: They both struggled just by containing him. With more upper body strength - and I admit these days a lot of male officers are overweight, badly trained, and/or lack testosterone - they might not even have to use deadly force. But here they were struggling to just contain him. Next, she used her duty weapon as if it was a taser: direct contact ... and in the front where his hands are. If you don't kneel on a suspects back where he can't see and has difficulty using his hands, you don't make contact with a gun and the perp. Next, by rolling on the floor with her colleague next to her and knowing the power of penetration 9 mm has (if it's not some Hydra Shok) she put her colleague in danger. She flagged her multiple times should the projectile have exited. I don't critizese WHAT they did, but HOW they did it. No problem at all with the result .... but it COULD have been avoided if the incident was handled properly.
@@OGKenG it doesn't matter. TX loitering statute says: Loitering on private property or business premises is prohibited if it unreasonably interferes with the movement of people or vehicles, or if it annoys or molests people
Mistake #1: At the point that she ran his info & it came back that he had outstanding warrants, the officer should have immediately placed him in handcuffs, and THEN searched him.
Yes many mistakes were made. They shouldn't have even had to shoot him. They both had zero upper body strength or grappling/jiu jitsu skills. I've never seen a cop hold a gun to someone's back like that. If it's a male cop usually they just use a Taser like that.

@@pastapaul150 it's not illegal to have a loaded gun in your pocket. Yes, she has to wait till he reaches for it. Edit: he absolutely could have prevented the typical panicked lady cop shooting by holding still but he was clearly drunk.

So many issues with this video. Suspects did not fit the profile for loitering in Texas. They ordered them off the private property without a formal tresspass.
