Those are so neat and much more affordable than paying big time money for something basic. Love how much fun you guys have with your projects! Also, that dancing skeleton at the end made me chuckle 😂

Hehe. Thanks! I’m surprised with how well the majority of them have held up over the years. Most are originals from our Monster Squad ~4ish years ago. Glad you got a chuckle out of that skeleton! 😂 💀 😂

Nice! You could beef up the neck with a meter stick, or I suppose if you have a hard time finding those, a yardstick would work. 😁

Ha! Some of the OGs in the monster squad do have yard stick reinforcements. They don’t work *as* well as I had hoped, but good for supports in a pinch!

Awesome 😊 shame the children are not allowed to trick or treat this year isn't it. 🎃 The house looked great at night.

Thanks! I haven't heard that it's banned here yet, but hopefully parents will figure out something fun for their kids to do.

@@JustMightDIY oh well hopefully not. All fun things are banned her it's like living in a communist state now. 😭🎃

You could still walk or drive around to look at decorations.

That is an awesome idea! If thick cardboard (or large pieces) aren't available, do you see any downside to using something like 1/8" hardboard? Or is there someplace you'd recommend getting large pieces of cardboard? :) Thanks! (Oh, and I love the idea of using the tissue paper for the eyes/mouth -- great glow effect. :))

Glad you like it!! Thin plywood is definitely an option, and you’d get some great longevity out of them. We kept it to cardboard to show that anyone can make these (without needing power tools). If you do make them out of wood, a jigsaw would be perfect to cut them out. For large cardboard - check in with places that showcase appliances (Best Buy, Home Depot, etc) and see if they have any extra boxes from their floor models. 😉

You can get big pieces of cardboard at appliance stores, costco, big box stores when they are done with their stocking just ask

Thanks for that. Cardboard is everywhere! And affordable 😃
