- Animating a mouth with the audio of your voice chat in PowerPoint (a lip sync animation) is easier than you think. You could, if you have the time, animate every single syllable with your voice but for general animation having the mouth animation start and stop when you start and stop talking is generally good enough.
you can find a cartoon lips speak expression ( mouth animation / mouth lip sync) frames on various stock sites, but you can make them yourself, but there's enough work involved in animating the lip sync so I downloaded for this tutorial.
Make sure you ask any questions if I haven't explained it well enough. this video could have been half an hour long but I wanted to go through the most important parts.
add this to your saved videos to watch later.

great tutorial, got good ideas from this video that I never imagined. most of the times i have to watch other videos in double speed. but your video teaching speed is perfect. you covered content in 10 mins that others will take 30+ mins to cover. very nice - to the point tutorial.
👀 Woah, I didn't and never knew... that this was even possible in PowerPoint!
Amazing .
Thanks you taught my son a very good thing. And great tutorial.
Thanl you so much, the video is very helpful and it will be a starting point to creat my own PPT
Thanks for sharing this. This is really helpful!
You’re welcome!
wow !!! I Can Now crate power point presentation.thank you.i'm from sri lanka💛💚💙
Super awesome thanks
But my lip sync isn't disappear after showing
I've watched this video numerous times, and kept pausing to see the things you clicked on so quickly! Some of the things you clicked on you never actually spoke about in the audio. Anyway, I seem to be having a few issues.
1. the talking mouth video I made works and repeats when I just select it only, but when I select play all, it only repeats 3 times then stops on about the 3rd frame.
2. when I select play all, to test the video and audio, the audio is not heard (I can hear it if I select it and play it with the play button on the audio icon.
I imported the mp4 of the mouth as this video shows. Same with the eyes mp4 I made. When I did that, now nothing happens when I select the Play All to test it! Not sure what I did wrong now....
Update: So I kept playing with it. What Matt never says or points out (as I'm not a PPT Power User), is that each imported mp4 (mouth/eyes animation video) and mp3 (audio file) ALSO have to have animation applied to them. Now I can have all 3 running, and just have to apply the bookmarks to start and stop the animation on the mouth.
Great video though. Learned a lot. Never have I animated with PPT. Pretty cool to learn.........now I have to see if it will come out!
Any idea why one of my "loop until stopped" videos stops after playing about 2 frames into the 3rd round? See #1 above.
I’ve emailed you
Looks like it's in an animation software ! Cool !
Yeah man , how’s your videos going ? Congratulations on 200 subs keep going!
@@HotKeys2021 Thanks ! I'm planning on some animations :D Why you aren't uploading anymore D:
@@MedAnimations life’s got in the way recently , I’ll pick it up again when things settle down I hope. Thanks . I’ll keep an eye out for your future videos!
@@HotKeys2021 Thanks, are you active on the internet ?
@@MedAnimations only browsing , I’ve stopped posting on Instagram (@ma.king_art) and RUclips for the time being .
bro can plz send me the the that file
Thank you for the turtorial! When you did the mouth for the premade image did you remove the background of the mouths? I have tried this but when I got to animate I can see the previous mouths.... If I don't remove the background then the mouth looks animated however I cannot get the background to match with my characters skin colour even after using the eye dropper. Any insight would be greatly appreciated
That’s strange that the colour doesn’t match even with the eye dropper. Could you change the characters colour ?
It’s been a while since I looked at this , but if you do remove the bg, you could ADD a disappear animation to each mouth after it appears ? Have another look at the video as I covered a few issues in it . Good luck
@@HotKeys2021 Hello. What version of PowerPoint are you using? the mouth video background can't change the color.
@@ChiangRaiandBeyond it’s Microsoft 365 and its PowerPoint version 2401 . Sorry it doesn’t work on your version
I see. Thanks for the reply
How to change the backround of mouth that I crop? It remains white. Using PPt 2401
Bro plz send me the file plzzzzzz...
Video timing bar is not disappearing while mouth is syncing. How to disappear it?
At 7.44 you can see a tick box that says ‘show media controls’ untick the box . Hope that works
At the 1:00 mark how are you keeping the cropping tool on the same slide? you went a bit fast and didnt really explain how or what you were doing there? thanks.
Once I crop the image I duplicate the image (control D) and then click crop and just slide the image to the next section under the cropping square , if that makes sense. Then I repeat the sequence, replicate, click crop, drag the image and repeat

Excellent. Hey,, I'd like to show you some samples of my recent graphical work using only Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Publisher.
Hey, could you please blacklist my channel from your bot / automated comment software please. Thanks 😊
@@HotKeys2021 I repeat comments due to time constraints. Your type of tutorials interest me since I also use Microsoft apps for skillfully executed graphic designs/photo edits; and I'd just like to share some of my samples with people who share similar interests--that's it.
Ah ok that’s cool , I’ll have a look at your RUclips channel and have a look at your graphical work
@@HotKeys2021 You'll have to email me at sr-12@live.com Stupid RUclips limits the length of comments now, it seems.
@@HotKeys2021I'm also in communication with other PowerPoint experts on RUclips and facebook such as 'Creative Venus', 'MAXIX Grafix', 'Vaclav Krejci' and 'Andrew Pach'; and would like to show as many users as possible that Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Publisher are much more useful for graphical work than even most professional users realize.
Too quick start 🙄
I did not understand a single thing from what this man said
If you are going fast, like you are, and using hotkeys, like you are, noobs like me will struggle to replicate what you are doing...
I know , sorry . Was still trying to find my audience , and was making the videos too fast.

That’s really nice to hear as I was beginning to think my tutorials are way too fast. Thanks for the feedback
