Jim, What is that big clutch pencil you use to make those fast and loose preliminary lines? Where can I buy one? I hope I'm not being too presumptuous, I know you're a busy guy. If anyone else knows and could tell me I'd really appreciate it. At the moment I use a Steadler Mars 2mm with a blunt nib for fast strokes.
I'd give anything for a sketch from you man . I look on ebay all the time trying to get a good deal but it's like impossible to find anything under 1500$ . You should draw more small stuff . Simple stuff that womt sell suoer exspensive for your fans with smaller pockets lol

I have never had any formal training, but i can copy what I see pretty well. However, when i try to draw something from my head, creatively I draw a blank, and often times cannot finish my idea. Any tips on how i can fix this issue? Ive gotten books, practiced drawing on my own countless times, but cant seem to retain anything. Any ideas?
Ty H - You could try using reference photos that approximate what you are imagining. I have a similar issue and that is usually helpful. That and making a lot of basic sketches to plot out your ideas.

Those are called led holders, used to hold different types of led. You can find them online or art stores, I personally go to blick.

3mm lead holder. I got mine on Amazon. Identical as his. Also I bought 2B lead for a softer feel.
