Thank you sososososososo much Cien (CrusherP) for writing the song, music and lyrics and letting me make Aiko sing it ;n; Aaron and I just added some extra higher vocal parts here and there.
It was a huge incentive to finish her English beta (which is still more alpha right now... I still have shittons of otoing to finish)
I'm so proud ;A; My baby is 2 years old and has a song of her own now~
Hopefully with many more to come as Cien and I improve ;n;/ And maybe in Japanese too!

Yeah there's good english vocaloids like Meiko English, CyVa, Gumi Eng, but for a utau Aiko's english is so much better than Miku's, Kaito's, Sonika's, and even Luka's english

My headcanon is that she fainted soon after she saw Akio's body, and now he's a ghost currently and kinda just sticks around, with her being none the wiser... aside from noticing that he doesn't eat anymore and occasionally appears behind her without her hearing him come into the room.

You can make an UTAU that sings in any language whatsoever, so long as you record the proper sounds for it c: I recorded around 600 samples for the English voicebank used here.

@@AnAndroNerd Modern methods are a lot more efficient, though! This was all CV, and I had no VC samples. 600 samples of VCCV/CVVC, Arpasing or other strung-sound methods get you a looooot further than pure CV used to.

I have seen tons of Vocaloid covers of this, and to see that the original was done with an UTAU really makes me happy! ! I'm trying to use and create some UTAUs myself, and all the covers are kind of....dissappointing, I guess? So seeing such wonderful (and popular! ) originals gives me an indirect boost of confidence

I think that the lyrics could be drawn out more, some of them seem to almost sound cut short, so drawing it out may make it sound a bit more realistic

@LuckyStarNo1Fan Thanks so much ;n;/ And actually since I go to college (I'm a media major) I have access to the studio in our library. We can rent stuff like cardioid/condenser mics and they have a couple of converted study rooms with soundproofing for recording. That's typically what I do for Aiko now. If you're looking into a new mic though I'd totally get one from the Blue Microphones brand, like the Snowball or the Yeti (Not the Snowflake though, that one isn't good xD)
My interpretation of this song: it's about toxic friendships, the person who sings the song talks about someone (probably a friend) who speaks half-truths, pretends to stop lying, blames the other for their problems and never changes, and in the end , the weapon trigger would be not to kill themself but to kill the friendship and to "how we heal" would be the two to live a better life without this friendship, the breaking point would be to collapse and finally end it all at once like the collapse of a building

@BOTDFfanXD No problem at all C: It's been used for MMD and speedpaints so you can do whatever so long as you credit. Please be sure to credit Cien specifically for lyrics/composition though, all I did was mix and configure Aiko's vocals.
