Great content. Marsch seems totally OK to alter the line ups and has done a lot of mixing with it since he took over in June. It has done wonders for Canada. Larin is one who is interesting. He's getting chances, but not finishing. I would have loved to see him score in this window. Funny you think he would have been cocky. I feel like he's one of the least cocky guys on the squad - who I think are all fairly humble TBH.

US looked like a team without a coach. Marsch got Canada pumped up and had good tactics to clog the middle. The US with Lund and Scally had little threat from the wings. Just hope Poch gets signed and we can see if he can get our team going.

we'll keep our fingers crossed for that Poch's signature as it has been three weeks since the unofficial announcement and USSF has yet to formally introduce him as the USMNT coach... On the other hand, Scally continues to waste every single opportunity he gets to prove that he can pick up Dests' slack, SMH.

Canada manhandled and outran them, and De La Torre was offside. Should have been 4-0.

Yeah, man. It was an extremely poor display from the USMNT. It felt as if they didn't care whatsoever knowing this was a worthless match for them and the WC process...

USMNT stunk it up. Might as well have a mostly different starting lineup. They should play a 4-2-3-1. They should beat New Z.
Hopefully Aguirre has a good formation and lineup

Agreed. If they knew this match was as irrelevant as January's camp cupcake, then at least use the minutes to either cap tie players or to test new tactics... I guess everyone is waiting for Poch to come...

@@puropinchegol true. I don’t think they could cap tie players in friendly matches though

Lmaoooo, it is for sure frustrating to see this "golden" generation settle for the bare minimum effort and thinking they will win matches in CONCACAF by default cause almost the entire squad plays in a Top 5 league in Europe... Hopefully Poch will put an end to this disdain from the likes of Pulisic and co.
