I lived in Denver and watched a lot of Bronco games. Champ Bailey made a lot of plays and was active but he also got toasted deep a lot. He is overrated if anything. He was not very good over the top. He was a lot better at a team read defense type scheme. He had some years where they did not throw at him but the Broncos had some really big gaps in other places at that time.
That Broncos team started 6-0 and still missed the playoffs. Unfortunate, that was an underrated roster on both ends. Champ was still a beast in his 10th year in the league.
