ok ok for real chris: a fricken air horn is very loud and is way louder to a puppy then us humans do... you just show the dog who is in charge and if he/she wines just say a word command loudly!! when my 16 yr old Bichon was a pup he whined a bit too but as soon as i heard him whine i said NO and if he stopped i gave him possitive reward which i petted him... it took about 3 weeks til he mastered the no whining rule and he is still that way today... btw today is his bday!! Mama loves you Branden!!!!
@@lynnettecook6973 Wow Your'e very rude! Its a learning curve for every one . I;m sure YOU as a child would have loved to have been left outside and ignored . I hope you NEVER have kids. You could easily ruin someones life (for life)!
When you get a thousand and one people chasing after you then why would you marry? Plus ,This doctor loves to travel and surf and be a vet in many countries. I wouldn’t get married either.
yep my 16 yr old Bichon Branden sleeps on my bed too!! well not anymore because of his old bones but he sleep below my bed and perks up as soon as i wake up xd!!
That mother should have got a battery operated dog. Ofcourse it needs attention! AND SHE chose a large German shepherd did she even read up on anything
I have to disagree with Chris Brown about his recommended attitude towards puppies when first taken to their new forever homes. So a young puppy is taken away from it's mother & siblings. Taken to a strange new environment, subsequently shut into a room, all alone..and SURPRISE the pup cried and screams. Better option would be to have a crate or basket in the same room as the emphatic owners. Would any other baby be shut away. Come on, evolve Chris. Incidentally thanks for going to South Africa to help Kevin with his lions, especially Napoleon. 🦁🦁
Most of these puppy problems which will become lifelong bad habits are because of lack of crate training and because of giving too much freedom to the puppy before it can handle it. A puppy should not roam around the house freely without owner's supervision. At night or when the owner is away, the puppy should be in a crate or xpen or in some safe, puppy-proof confined area*(a crate being the best of these options of course) This will prevent all these chewing problems and bed issues and makes house training really fast and easy. On top of not crate training, most people don't train their puppies in obedience, so they have no way to communicate clearly with their dogs and subsequently have no control over them. None of these crazy and ad hock, too clever by half "solutions" like Vicks vapour, and noise making devices are ever even needed if you crate train your puppy. This way bad habits will never even start so you won't have to find a way to stop them later. On the whole this program was very unhelpful because it didn't give the obvious and tried and true methods of dealing AND preventing puppy problems (probably because of silly ideological reasons) instead promoted these ad hock, childish, hit-or-miss solutions to the participants' puppy problems. Thankfully many good natured and easy going dogs will survive their owners' mistakes and negligence in training them and grow up to be tolerably good pets. But unfortunately far too many will never recover and carry their destructive habits into adulthood. That's why these days shelters are full of abandoned dogs. Very sad!
I agree, keeping puppies in a crate when they're just born & tiny is one thing, when they're older & full of energy, it's animal cruelty & a criminal offence in the UK also. Little growing puppies with lots of energy primarily need long walks so they can run around outside to burn off their energy and a safe place with lots of chew toys to chew if left alone to keep them occupied while they're teething. NB Chris is a vet not an animal behaviourist. There are other shows out there like "It's me or the dog" with Victoria Sewell who has decades of experience out there, who go into a lot more detail about training puppies. Chris is a vet, so it's natural his priority is the animal's health, not necessarily the details of their training.
Well he didn't appear later on, so he evidently didn't last as a boyfriend. Complaining the lady wasn't as affectionate as a dog, likewise wasn't a particular good look.. lol. Hope she finds a better boyfriend soon.

The balloon idea is a good idea but if your leaving the dog in the garden while your not home a puppy of that size can easily choke or eat the baloon

Well.. Chris said it in the video, you better get your hand out of yr puppy's mouth & give her some toys to play with, yr not a toy..
Ok, I just have one question- why isn't this guy married?? 😍😁💗

I think most of his female followers are not exactly here for the animals. It’s harmless, inexpensive, and lots of fun……a girl’s gotta dream…
