Stamping a black image on a colourful background is so simple but I wouldn't think to do it. And then adding just a bit of colour to the flowers and overstamping ... A+ today Tash.
Thank you so much Natasha, I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and stunning card. And the pop of the red around the edge, is really really effective too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
My daughter has severe autism and often uses her fingers to smear ink and paint on her cards. She was soooo happy to see you do the same thing AND we just bought that stamp yesterday, too. What looked like a card background going downhill, LOL, turned out really cool! Thank you for giving us the encouragement to keep going! Great card!!! (Rachel loves it too!)
This is so cool. I think you teach us more techniques throughout 1 episode than just what the title says. I love how you went back and stamped on top of your painted flowers. That extra detail was awesome.
Great card and play around! Don't know if this will work for you . .. but I cut a piece of plastic 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and ran black ink around the edges . I then use this on the background print to decide what part I like the best to use on the card. I then mark 2 sides so I know where I want to cut. Thank you for all your teaching us
I wasn't crazy about the background, but the second you added that fabulous and beauiful stamp to it, it was a magical pairing. WOW. Love the whole thing. I agree with you about never throwing anything out, even if you hate it. My "uglies" are usually cut into butterflies, dragonflies, etc. and as you say, you can choose the parts of it you like the best. Love this card. Am going to have to buy that stamp, it is gorgeous. Thanks so much Tash.
I have to confess that some other's videos I sometimes speed forward but not yours... I love watching your every step of the process to the final card and I precious every second 🥰
Lovely card, Natasha! The background looked very ‘Monet-esque’ so I loved it immediately… so thank you for posting your vid, and sharing your card/technique.
I love how your card turned out.. enjoy your winter... we had a mild winter this year... but it's cold and raining here... I will be so glad to have warm weather soon..
Beautiful! Love the way you added that burgundy border by just rubbing on a quick layer of matching paint! That paint and restamp technique is also brill (have seen it on TH videos too). TYFS! ❤️🦋💜
The first thing I asked myself was , how something good should come out of this chaos of colors ... The result is amazing ... Thank you for sharing ♡♡♡
Your videos always keep me in suspense. I start watching and think "this is not my style", but the end result is always so pretty! I love that you have so many truly different ideas---and they all turn out beautifully.
Beautiful ❤️. Thank you by the way for playing music at the end, it allows me to make sure I "Like" you for the video ends. I think only you and Simon Hurley do that!
Don't know how you do it. I really didn't think that background was very pretty, but somehow you turned it into a beautiful card and the background ends up being perfect for what you did. Thanks for sharing your many unique ideas!
I love the way you never know what you will end up with when you create backgrounds. I do mine on an evening and they always look better in the morning lol 😆
Your new stamping platform is the first one I bought. It was a good one to start with and I use it when crating with kids. Then I bought a Stamparatus from Stampin’ Up. It is so much more versatile, with 2 removable, reversible doors. Both doors can also be moved up and down the hinge to move stamps without moving the card. It’s also a really good price for such a great top. Love you card as always. I have lots of gel prints to use up!
I swapped out my Misti Stampin platform to use a press to impress platform about 6 months ago and I am so,pleased I did as I love it so much more than the Misti . So much easier to use. Today’s card is not one that I would do . BUT . I am gob smacked that you can turn layers of different colours of paint into such a stunning card . Thank you for opening my mind to new things Natasha . X
Hi Natasha, I really didn't like this background and then you stamped the black image and it was instantly beautiful. How amazing! Thanks for all your videos, I love watching them.
Hi Natasha your card is gorgeous of course but your background is stunning, you just keep making the most amazing cards, you are so talented. I would like to wish you a Happy Mother's Day tomorrow with your 2 lovely children and hope that your whole family have an amazing day together. Love from Donnamaree 💝💐💖🌹
Fingers were around long before any other tools! This looks like so much fun! Ive borrowed a friends gel plate that i have yet to try. This has given me some inspiration. Thanks so much!
I love the background. I like the way the color on the TV flowers actually made the butterfly stand out even more. Thank you for not using a sentiment on the outside, I make many with only an inside sentiment and rarely see that.
That’s turning a interesting background into a really lovely card. Thanks again Natasha. I love your ideas. Thanks again for your video. Hugs from Australia ❤️❤️🐨❤️❤️🌻
You always surprise me! I didn't think this was going to go well...but I should know better by now. Gorgeous! That background reminds me of paintings by a famous painter that I can't recall the name of right now.
I have that stamping platform. It's the only one I have and I use it everyday, it's great. It also works well with the Gina k wreath builder. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It's still spring in the UK and still frosty every morning!
I love the background, I am getting a gel press tomorrow for Mother’s Day so I am looking forward to making lots of backgrounds. I hope you have a lovely Mother’s Day tomorrow.
Loved it as always. Making backing rounds to me is also play time. Theres no pressure when creating them . I did a different technique for about and hour. I have ones to use now. Hard part is choosing which one.. lol thanks for sharing as always. Love you videos.
Thanks for showing me what to do with all those loose pieces of background paper that I've been Hoarding for years, LOL I love this technique Natasha it's gorgeous!
Love how this card turned but was a bit worried when you added the green paint, I thought oh nooo! But as we keep saying we shouldn't doubt you Natasha. Thanks once again for sharing your videos and your talent with us 💞
Beautiful card Natasha ❤ I've always have enjoyed watching you. And I'm one of those from way back. I love your creativity always and forever with you❤🥰❣ I sure would love some of that cold weather your having, here in the United States of the state of California & we haven't even hit summer yet! I'm ready to move back to Utah it's still a little cooler there. Sending much Love and Blessings to you and your cute adorable family. They make my day when they wave and say Hello 👋 🖐🏼 Thank You for sharing your amazing Masterpieces ❤🥰❣
What a timely video for me. I've been thinking of getting a gel plate in the 5x7 size. The local craft shop I like to support was out but had one of those harder ones in 5x7 size. I didn't buy it and the clerk didn't know how it compares to the softer ones. Now I know that I want to wait until they get the soft ones in. Thank you! Oh and great card 😊
Dear Natasha Tks a bunch as always I learnt a lot daughter also said that it is getting colder. I am waiting 2 cm and see her and my grand daughter. But I don't know when due to covid. I am in Sri Lanka and cannot get most of the stuff I need for crafting. Ordering is another task as shipping is costly and now it is worse. But the beauty is people like you teach many ways and with a bit of creativity I can engage in my hobby which is card making. Tc stay safe
I love that you showed us that cards can still look great without a sentiment on the front!!
I love how the pink border brings the pink out; you have the best ideas! I am going to try this! Thank you!!

I’ve, love, love that background!!!it was fun to watch you develop it!! What a beautiful card! THank you!!!
This card turned out beautifully! I love your technique of painting the flowers with acrylic paint was the perfect touch!
I am re-visiting your card making ideas so that I can get busy with this crafting. Beautiful, beautiful card Natasha. 🥰❤️
Your colours and stencils added nice texture to the card. Those combined to make the butterflies really stand out :)

After you were done with the paint and before you cut it, it reminded me of an impressionist painting.
I really think that’s Pretty. I didn’t think it would turn out that good!!!
Fingers were around long before any other tools! This looks like so much fun! Ive borrowed a friends gel plate that i have yet to try. This has given me some inspiration. Thanks so much!

Another creative and innovative approach.
Another lovely card!!! Stay warm! We're just warming up here in the eastern USA.

Exactly what I was thinking!

The background before stamping looked like “Water Lilies” by Monet! 🤣 Lovely 😊
tout simplement magnifique 😍merciiii pour ce tuto Natasha
What a great idea to paint the border of a layer. So you do not need a pile of color cardstock. Kind regards.
I love my 5x7 gel plate. But be aware it's addictive. Oh wait our entire hobby is our obsession
Gorgeous
Beautiful card! I especially love the stamp 😍
I need to get out of my rut and try this. I have never tried gel press items. Thanks so much!
You never cease to amaze me. This is gorgeous. 😁
Love it! You are such an inspiration! Thank you!
