Victoria, your Christmas Home Tour is THE BEST ONE on RUclips!!! ♡♡♡ I LOVE the mix of neutral Farmhouse with the Glitzy GLAM! Love your style. It is NOT gaudy. You asked for suggestions for your fireplace, so here goes: You could add the gold leaf lighted garland to the green garland on the hearth to tie it in with your garland on the mantel. You could also add some gold tinsel (mylar) garland to the green garland on the hearth, along with a few gold Christmas balls and pinecones from your trees (FREE! Love that!) if you don't plan on using the hearth for seating. Dollar Tree has some pretty gold, rose gold and silver ones this year made of plastic so you don't have to worry about shards of glass, and these ornaments look very high-end and you can't tell they aren't glass unless you are looking at them UP CLOSE. Have to say, I LOVE those 2 window panes and the curved window arch you used like a fireplace screen......GENIUS! ♡ (And in 3's, too, for balance!) As for hanging your Christmas stockings near the fireplace, how does this sound? Grab a couple of those galvanized buckets trimmed around the top with jute twine from the Dollar Tree and fill them with the small black or white gravel Dollar Tree also sells to make them heavy enough so they don't tip over. Then, stick a metal shepherd's hook in each bucket and hang a stocking from each hook. You can put the buckets on the mantel or hearth, whichever look you prefer. Don't have any shepherd's hooks and can't find any in stores because the stores only sell them in Spring and Summer? Then buy 2 all-metal wire banana hooks. You know the silver/chrome wire ones with the simple round ring metal bases on the bottom and the half-circle attached to the base with a hook at the end from which to hangs bananas? Find a pair with a small enough base to fit into your galvanized buckets and make sure to bury the base in gravel about a fourth of the way from the top of the bucket to keep them secure in each bucket before you hang each stocking. Hope this helps! You inspire me and your enthusiasm is contagious! Keep up the creativity!
Your style is so me. Great job decorating. Everything looks wonderful and so comfortable. An idea for your fireplace~do you have a medium to large size crock? You could fill it with some birch branches, pinecones and a bit of evergreens. Maybe even a set of large rustic jingle bells in with the crock display. I love the fur runner and the arch window.

Beautifully done! Have you thought about adding blue pompoms to your existing pillows? You asked about ideas for the fireplace .... I would hang the 2 stockings next to each other on the left side of mantel with the greenery (currently at the bottom) cascading down to the floor on the same side and add lights. Then both deer on the hearth to the right side.

I LOVE your home, it's so beautiful! I have that same metal truck from Kirklands but need to get a bottle brush tree to put in it. I love how you used a large window and shutters for a headboard, very pretty.
That 24.99 garland is so glitzy. My bedroom is a little glitzy (a lot of antique mercury glass)I share it with my husband so it has some leather too. I might try to find it for my mirror. . I was in Homegoods/TJMaxx last night and I bought a beautiful mercury glass snowman that I added a battery powered wax candle inside to light it up. So pretty with the lights off. I also have a French farmhouse country thing going on too, so I love the old windows in front of the fireplace. That may be my mission to find some pretty windows this next yard sale season and elsewhere!
Love your home...looks so balanced and girl would I love to own a furniture store...two suggestions for the fireplace: swap your trees with your deer, I love the arched windows beside the tv but I think the trees cover much of them..second suggestion: add a Blue Spruce tree on the bottom of the fireplace...place 1 on one side of the fireplace with both of your stockings hung on the opposite side..or find 2 blue spruces and place them on either side...you'll actually pick up a lil more blue/gray tone from the rug...I absolutely love your home though...

Your home is adorable...you are a gifted lady! I think your fireplace needs a more hefty garland I would use a fake pine and then add in a real cedar sprigs with pinecones and embellished with gold & silver ornaments and of course lights. Just lay some cedar around your reindeers with loose beautiful ornaments and add some fairy lights concealed around the cedar, I just think some greenery would really make it look beautiful. I also like using wood. I made a wooden bead garland that turned out gorgeous. For my mantle I hung three different garlands (white Pom Pom, gold bells and silver snowflakes) and it turned out really cute. Maybe that might work under your tv💕

For the mantle, I would get a longer garland and put it at the bottom. If you can get some rustic looking wood and nail or screw in some hooks (Cityline has a tutorial, just do a search), you could hang your stockings there. I think the top is a little too narrow for a garland and it blocks the TV anyway. But the bottom has a lot of space. You could even layer that top garland with the one you have at the bottom and I would have them long enough so that they're hanging down on either side. I would stuff some picks and ornaments in the garland so that it ties in with your tree.

I would swag the greenery that's on the white runner along with the greenery and lights under the television... then using the commander hooks (like the one used in the kitchen window), place your stockings within the swags for a balanced look. Everything in odd numbers gives a coordinated look that's pleasing to the eye. Whether you knew this or not, you have instinctively designed your home using this principle!
