That scenic would make an awesome pendant. I always find it a little disheartening to get out to some place and realize there are already people there or there have been recently.
It would be a great pendant, I might have to work it into something along the way. We both kinda lost our steam at that point of realization. I guess my buddy seen the prints long before I did, but he didn’t mention them and figured they were a few days old. Then when I seen the footprints I felt like they were too fresh and that’s when I looked up and seen them folks on the next bar. 🫤 It’s one of them spots so far out, you just assume you’re alone and it’s all fresh. Buncha nope sauce! Still a fun day though. Thanks for tuning in!
Happy 1,000 subscriber milestone! You are a great teacher and I love your informative videos. The ammolite on those stones you found is impressive! Keep the videos coming!
Thank you and Congratulations! Thinking of your videos, I wonder why it didn't happen earlier... I found you a few months ago, and I love your calming, super interesting content! Thanks again from one of your subs in Sweden!
Congrats on the thousand, you put on a good show, it should keep growing. We had a blast rockhounding Weta and French Creek this year, heard your voice a couple times, but that could have been the heat. Those septarians would make nice carved buffalo, but hey Im not gonna tell an artist how to do their job.
Thank you for helping get me there! I’ll tell ya, I hope my spirit ends up as one of them voices out there in the wind, but you just may have heard me down there in French Creek area. 😉 As for them septarian buffalo, it’s a great idea and they are on my list to make. Thanks again for tuning in!
@@waywardwoodwardMy opinion on the Cheyenne River septarians as I have a lot, are they are very fragile and break apart very easily. Not to say they cannot be carved, but the septarians from Utah, and places like Madagascar are rock solid and likely won’t fall apart when carving. Even putting them in a tumbler, usually they break totally apart. Just my experience.
@@eyeguyeyeguy1 indeed! I have found a few here and there that hold up to cutting and working, but yes, most of them here are too fragile to work with much success. Thanks for tuning in!
I live in Sioux Falls and enjoy coming out West to rockhound. In my 4 trips to the Fairburn area I haven't found a good one yet but plenty of Prairie Agates. Will try Teepee Canyon later this Fall.
@@leviwarren6222 Spent a day there this Summer but wasn't sure what I was looking for so didn't really find much... Next time I'll be better prepared...been rockhounding for many years, always seems I find something when I least expect it!!
Everything you tossed I would have taken! It's also why I have buckets and buckets of rocks sitting around everywhere 🤷♀️. I need to pick a lane and stay in it when collecting although I know that will never happen. Congrats on your subscriber milestone!
Some days I get “junk drunk” and end up with a pack full of rocks. 🙃 For me, it generally depends how far I’m hiked in and the weight it will cost me on the hike back. Thanks for tuning in!
Congratulations on the 1k🎉🍻 I'm starting to really like the Baculite Fossils since I'm finding them now😅 and the lil black agate with the hole in it is awesome 😎

I love hunting in the fall when the temps come down and the rains move in. Best luck to you when you make it back this way! 💪 Thanks for tuning in!
You can't miss in Teepee Canyon. It's a good place to head when your got skunked previously and want a near 100% chance of finding something.
@@leviwarren6222 truth! Love me some teepee canyon area!
