DOC650!! Love the new Vstrom 1050 beast! So cool you got the dealer signing in the video too. I'm so happy for you brother, I was smiling the whole time watching this. Your Vee1050 is such a beautiful machine with the color and gold wheels. Just stunning! The door to anyplace in the USA has just opened up for you. As you know I'm fond of a Vstrom or Wee Strom myself. Yes, the DR650's can lay down the miles but this bike my friend is the Cadillac of adventure touring. Congratulations DOC.
Thank You so much Calvin! As far as moving on up, I always did enjoy "The Jeffersons" LOL! Should be lots of miles ahead (once the weather furnace is turned down). I appreciate the kind words! Cheers!
Thanks Rodney! Great meeting you also! Great choice on the Honda Rebel 1100! Glad you like my videos (labor of love). We will have to go on a ride together sometime. My email is doc650adventures@gmail.com Best wishes and safe riding to you! Cheers!
I am so far behind. AWESOME new bike, Doc. Before the GS fell into my lap, I looked at these for a long time (mostly the 650, but the 1050 too). The V Strom is such a great lineup. Belated congratulations on the new bike!
Understand being behind, me also. That GS you have is a sweet ride! Loved your interview Brad did! It was high level great! Also good to see you so we can connect a face to your voice. Spot on about the V-Stroms! I wasn't even considering one until I talked to several long time riders who absolutely love and recommend them. Great to hear from you! Cheers!
Where do I start. Very cool to see the guys at the dealership and you picking up the new bike - Nice touch !!! - That is one good looking bike for sure. Just like with VW, now you guys have opened up a whole new world of opportunities depending on "The Mission" :-) I had money (and lost) that the very first thing you were gonna do is fly off that jump !!!!! I did not think I would until I saw it in person. The tubeless wheels are crazy. They seem to a combo of a math problem and modern art. Thanks again for your kind comments Brother! Cheers!
Beautiful bike. Congratulations! Looks and sounds delicious. I like the accessory mount bar behind the wind screen. That is very good gas mileage I think with that big tank. There was that jump behind the dealership but perhaps next time.
Thank You Rob!! Bike rides so well. The fuel mileage should go up as it continues to break in. The accessory bar in one of the many nice features of the bike. As far as that loading ramp, I have been tempted many times to give it a whirl on the Mighty DR650 but haven't yet LOL. Cheers!
