Because he probably is. There really isn't a qualification he does not posses to move to F1. The only thing holding him back is lack of seats so he's just essentially biding his time the way Alex did when he got booted from his Red Bull seat.
Nice job Oscar, it's pretty unfortunate your not locked into a full time drive in 2022. But to be honest it'll probably be a blessing. Enjoy the time to recharge after the blur of back to back championships, F3 and F2. I reckon you'll learn heaps off of FO this year. make the most of the opportunity and come out fighting when you get the chance to fill a drive this year. It'll happen, so grab it and prove a point. your gift is obvious to all!!! Cheers mate, been watching you come up through the ranks. 🇭🇲 all the way.....
After listening to the commentators talking about Alonso saying he hopes to race for another 2 to 3 years and I don't see Oscar being a Alpine test driver after the end of 2022
He's extremely intelligent and really well spoken. Love listening to him
Highly rated with the junior category credentials to back it up. We’re very excited to see Oscar in action next April
Why does it feel like he dies a little inside everytime he mentions he's a reserve/not driving this year?

Looking forward to see you in the grid mate. Thanks for the answers.
I really like this video of oscar piastri when reserve f1 driver at Alpine f1 team in 2023 answering fans questions.
Thank you AusGP and Oscar for making this happen! We can't wait to see him in Formula 1.

Would love to see Oscar visit El Museo and drive Fernando's winning cars around.
Cannot wait for Oscar to get a seat and show up all the boys who only have a seat because of govt and sponsor cash rather than ability.
He seems cocky
He from a rich area in Melbourne.
@@jodiefletchercrazymofo 'rich area of Melbourne' is a little different to being government sponsored by one of the richest countries in the world.
Who tf are you talking about?
@@neverenoughgames72 Zhou coming 3rd in F2 but getting a seat last year over both above him off the back of some nice government incentivising
get rid of latifi for this man
