Actor Doug Sheehan, best known for his role as Joe Kelly on "General Hospital," has passed away at the age of 75. According to an announcement from Kane Funeral Home in Big Horn, WY, Sheehan died peacefully at his home on the morning of June 29, with his wife, Cate Abert, by his side. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
Doug Sheehan's career in television spanned several decades and included memorable roles in both daytime and primetime TV. He got his start with appearances on shows like "Charlie's Angels" and "Kaz," as well as in the Blake Edwards film "10." However, it was his role as Joe Kelly on "General Hospital" that truly launched his career. Joining the cast in 1979, Sheehan played a detective-turned-lawyer who had romantic entanglements with characters Anne Logan and Bobbie Spencer.
