Also if anyone is having any trouble as not all models have the same settings, Some android models like the Revvl 6 Pro don’t have certain features like “Additional Setting” so you may have to then go Under Settings -> Accessibility-> Accessibility Menu and under options turn on Accessibility Menu Shortcut

Occasionally, I unintentionally set my calculator as an alarm. haven't even come close to fixing my problem, and I was becoming increasingly frustrated while searching for "Additional Settings". Yep, all these require you to have either a very old model that allows you to take over back cover or have the phone turned on already with prior settings. There is no option but to physically take over back cover and hopefully the battery isn't glued/hard to take out (which it will be in modern phones). Modern phones are not FRU's anymore
Guys I have found the easiest solution that is so rare this just saved me... If you don't have power button and your phone has turned off then you need to hold both volume up and down button together and at the same time plug it to charger...then a screen will appear you will need to tap volume down button and your phone will restart 😭😭❤️

My power button is broken, phone is in recovery mode with Reboot System Now highlighted, but no power button to press, which is the button needed to select it so it would actually reboot. I wish I had known the power button is somewhat fragile. If I had known, I would have avoided that button as much as possible.

Idk if you already got a new phone, but try doing this. 1. Plug your charger, and press your vol. down button. 2. try calling your phone, or make a notification pop up on it. It worked when I did 1., but it opened when the alarm activated (at 6AM for my fast)... I was lucky. (This was when I had 100% after charging my phone.) Extra: For my situation, my battery ran out, and my power button was USELESS (it was broken), I was on the verge on breaking down since I was 100% aware of the fact that my parents would NOT spare a single cent for a NEW PHONE at all unless I study my ass off and pray to get no.1 in my grade... So I was extremely lucky!

Isn't the fingerprint unlock only to unlock the screen instead of restart android phone without power button? I mean, does it actually switch it on if it's off?

Guys I have found the easiest solution that is so rare this just saved me... If you don't have power button and your phone has turned off then you need to hold both volume up and down button together and at the same time plug it to charger...then a screen will appear you will need to tap volume down button and your phone will restart 😭😭❤️
