Thanks for the video! I've been putting this off for a long time, but that didn't look so bad!

It wasn't that bad...I've heard it can be tricky though. I guess it depends on the car. I hope yours went well!

Great Job. I Replaced Hundreds Of These Springs When I Worked For Volkswagen Dealerships For 33 Years Starting In 1975 On Type 1 - 2 And 3 Air Cooled Volkswagens.

Yeah, simple fix/part, but soooo important!

Cool video man, having trouble replacing the same spring.. mine seems to have a lot more tension to load which I'm finding difficult. My engine is out which helps with room to work but I'll point out that removing the fork doesn't make things easier haha. I took off the clutch arm circlip and arm, but will have to persevere loading the bottom part of the spring on the ledge. Aloha from Australia 🙂

Dang, that is a bummer. I think I did get lucky that mine snapped on so easily. I anticipated more of a struggle. I wonder if some of them are thicker and have more resistance? The one I installed is aftermarket. I'm not sure if it made a difference or not. Best of luck getting yours on!
