- I visited the capital city of Sri Lanka, Colombo with my friend @GoWithAli. We met a tuk tuk driver who showed us around and took us to all the best spots for the day.

13:55 It's a replica of the original statue located in AWUKANA, near ANURADHAPURA . The original statue is carved out of a large granite rock face during the 5th century.

The tall Buddha statue you saw in front of BMICH (the conference hall) is a replica of the original Avukana Buddha Statue in Anuradhapura built in the 5th century. The original statue is carved out of stone and is over 14 metres tall

I am so surprised when see the elephant bathing at the Buddhist temple in modern colombo city! its a nice city tour very beautiful red mosque, ancient Hindu place and famous Buddhist temple as well! they are peacefully lives together! wow harry machan nice again!

This was a lovely and fun vlog Harry, like the Nine Arches Bridge! Srilanka is truly a Paradise where you get to experience the most delicious and fresh food all year round, not to mention the genuine warmth and hospitality of it's people! And within a matter of a few hours, you could be in the warm waters of the beautiful beaches ...and next in the cool climate of the upcountry region, with its magnificent waterfalls and Tea plantations and natural forests! Last but not least is the wildlife with many species endemic to SL.

Harry, this is by far your best vlog for me. Felt so vibrant. And a little fact, the original Buddha Statue carved out of stone " The Avukana Buddha Statue" is in Anuradhapura. One of the most underrated touristy places in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka's Population demographics roughly
Sinhalese - 73% (Mostly Buddhists - 70%, rest Catholics/Christians)
Tamils - 16% (Includes Sri Lankan Tamils + Indian Origin Tamils. Mostly Hindus, rest Catholics/Christians)
Muslims - 11% (their religion Islam)
Rest 1% - Malay, Burger, etc communities
Malay is their ethnicity but religion is Muslims though..

You missed a catholic church in this tour. One or two churches located in that route too. As you mentioned it's the most beautiful thing in Sri Lanka. All the religions and all the nationalities live peacefully here in Sri Lanka. ❤️🇱🇰

Very nice volg. l miss my home town so long that's my hometown may be 30-40. minutes southern side of where you are from but still very nice buildings and many things to see. oh that right that's a coconut tree.you are prefect , well thanks for the volg.l think you should visit Mount Lavinia hotel that beach is so nice 👍 in. colombo near that buiddist temple there is a big shopping complex ,

Try visiting the beaches in trincomalee, arugambay, negombo, benthota to name a few, the beaches are pretty in the north east and down south of sri lanka. Also for a night eat out try Park Street Mews, in colombo 2. Enjoy your stay Harry and the rest Mac, Ali, Luke :D!!! I am a fan of all of you and enjoy watching your vlogs, soo funny and a good laugh too inbetween :D... Didn't realize my mother land is this appreciated and beautiful, miss it.
