- I took a train ride with my friend @worldnomac from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, this train is famous for being one of the most beautiful and best train rides in the world, and it did not disappoint. We also travelled in 3rd class which was tiring but very fun and we got to meet many locals which was interesting.

The group of guys who let you put your bags on their table and gave Mac the window seat seemed really nice. They were going to Sri Pada - it's a Buddhist site but a lot of tourists go there just for the hike up the mountain and the sunrise.
Not surprised at all to see people playing instruments and singing - this is almost a must-do thing in Sri Lanka when going on long trips. If people don't have proper instruments with them, they will use makeshift instruments or at least just sing in groups. Almost every guy in Sri Lanka seems to be able to play some sort of percussion instrument - they start at school using their desks as drums haha

Gregory Park, Lovers Leap waterfall, Lots of tea factories, Hortan Plains, Adam's Peak (Sri Padaya/Siripade/Butterfly Mountain), St. Clair falls, Adishm Bungalow, Bomburu waterfall, Hakgala Botanical Garden and so many hotels, bungalows and resorts.

St Andrews and Grand Hotel, Golf Club a must..its very cheap to stay at Golf Club ...And then Ambewela Dairy Farms and proceed to Horton Plains ( its like a bit of Scotland) its on the same road

This looks awesome.. Harry if you wanna try real sri lankan food and real sri lankan cultural experience visit Umandawa in Kurunegala . I've just been to sri lanka twice so I never got the chance to visit that place, but I've been watching so many RUclips videos about that place. As I gotta know it's totally free you just have to got there and talk to chief monk in that place, You'll be able to get the best cultural and spiritual experience in sri lanka. also you'll be able to try the real sri lankan food. My mom used to teach me about sri lanka when i was a kid. I think that's the place which got everything that she taught me.
