@Phil I see your back to doing videos. Now I have something to watch always good learning more and more about gm upgrades. Now if I could just get myself to upgrade my hmi for CarPlay,
Can you show was necessary to program a 2015 cluster and BCM to run on a standalone? I’m trying to put one in my 85 c10. I just can’t find any info on how to wire the cluster and BCM to run off my truck. I know it can be done tho I already have a LS and 4L60 with ECU from a 2006 Tahoe
I have a chevy silverado 2017 wt i already put a progam cluster. do you know what wires i have to connect from the cluster to the radio so the back buttons of the steering wheel work with radio ?
I want you to get one of the new 2020 GM trucks so I can see new upgrades for those. Quick question, why did you go back to the more basic gauge cluster from the Denali if it has all the functionality that this new update provides? I have the 2020 Denali HD now. but did the cluster swap on my 2017 LTZ 2500HD. Best way to sell my old cluster? Now that I no longer own the 2017, no reason to keep my old gauge cluster.
BattleBornDmax - I still have the Denali Cluster. This video was for demonstration purposes showing the CP/AA functionality on a 2014-2015.5 truck without having the need to swap the cluster.
Phil Gamboa I sent you an email. I want to swap my Denali handles on the 2020 with the lighted Escalade 2020 handles, but I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew.
Wow, you seem to be really knowledgable when it comes to GM trucks. I know there are thousands of people wishing they could add the OEM trailer brake controller to their truck. From 2014 to 2017 not many dealerships ordered their trucks with this option, after 2018 they seem to be putting it in all of them. But nobody has come up with a way to add it to an existing truck that didn't come with it.
This is a little off subject I have a 14 Silverado that came from Canada has a 200 mph cluster I want to put the US version and if I get a used cluster can you program it to work in my truck
@phil Does this also allow you to use the next and previous controls on the steeering wheel as well? I did the HMI upgrade but have not done the cluster upgrade yet and was curious what the best option would be to have al functions... And affordably lol
If you mean the backside buttons on the steering wheel, no. That requires additional wiring and appropriate Radio/Screen/Cluster upgrade. So once you get all that done, then the last step is adding the control wiring.
@@quintellm - Sort of. If you don't have controls now, part of successfully integrating is to get a cluster that supports it. The factory 4" color cluster will work too, but most skip that and go to a denali cluster since they need to replace that base WT cluster you have.
I noticed your phone is plugged into the front USB hub and not the one under the lid in the center console. I just ordered the carplay upgrade for my 2015 Sierra from WAMS and replaced the center console usb hub under the lid with the correct one. Can I still use the front 3 port hub for car play or do I need to order an upgraded hub there too from a 2016+ vehicle?
You should order the updated USB Hubs for 2016+. The front should be a Double USB hub. The one inside the console compartment should be without an SD Card slot.
@@philgamboa2906 Thanks! I have the one in the console without the SD slot but didn't change out the front one. I will look that one up and see about ordering it.
@@philgamboa2906 I am looking up the part numbers on GM parts direct and am only finding the 3 port usb hub, 13581217. The other option is shows is a 13519224 but that one is for inside the center console. I am using a 2018 1500 denali for my vehicle search. What am I missing?
You want to ensure to work with www.WhiteAutoandMedia.com on specific part # fitment and programming. You don't want to buy random clusters (even if coming from same year). There are many differences between part #s

Yes sir. So many projects going simultaneously. :) Trying to upload more frequent content.

Hey Phil I don’t know how to contact you through the trucking forum but I need a harness for dl8 to dl3 mirror I have a 2015 Silverado

You from Grand Prairie or somewhere in dallas? Recognize the 469
Will this allow you also to control volume with the steering wheel while using android auto/apple CarPlay?

Phew ... a Gamboa video that isnt going to make me do mods to my 2017 lol

I have a 2024 chevy 2500 hd custom is I posible to program a high country for it?
Quick question. If I upgrade to a Z71 cluster , after install. Will it show the mileage on the cluster I purchased, or my actual mileage?
Does my my 2016 sierra All terrain have google play already installed ? I also have same cluster on my 2016 .
u live en Dallas good video 👍
Yes.
I have a work truck Phil and I wanna put the z71 cluster can I just plug and play it ?
It’s not PnP.

There are some compatible older USB hubs, but they tend to crash. So it is recommended to update to the later usb hubs.
