Am I the only one getting anxious looking at this photo of a house on stilts way up on a mountain, with apparently no ladder or stairs? LOL. It's great art, I always love dreamhop art. But this one makes me nervous!
If I remember correctly, it's a kind of watch tower they have in big state parks and nature reserves to watch for forest fires. I watched a playthrough of a game called Fire Watch (I think) and it was about a guy who goes to work in one of those watch towers for the summer. Great fun! Very nice story it had :D
I think about the person in the tree a lot. Do they know of this house? Is it an oasis in an otherwise deep, dark, lonely forest? Are they excited to see this home, relieved, even? Do they intend to venture there? Or is it, perhaps, their home? Have they, on their journey back home, noticed someone dwelling in their abode? Are they fearful? Angry? Planning on how to strike back against the invaders? Or do they see the fire in their own home and feel joy, knowing there is someone waiting for them?
