These don’t work I used one on my FTM 400. The head always fell off because the ball is too large and cannot be tightened down. Called Lido did not help. I had to scavage around to find another ball and ring in order to make it work. Lido refused to accept the fact that the ball did not fit.
Hi John, if you screw in the upper portion first into the FTM-400 and tighten with a screw driver, make sure it is seated into the gasket, then snap the ball in the socket and tighten the ring, you will find it works great. There should have been instruction in the package describing this.
@@Lidoradio it does not work. I tried everything. The ball does not fit into the socket. As soon as you start to tighten it down, the ball pops right out because it is too big
