At the very least, the owner must put in more than twice the work to keep the cat's ears clean and free of dirt and ear mites. Like Persian cats with short faces or hairless cats that look like the Sphynx, whose appearance gives them breathing problems or massive risks of skin cancer...humans will breed in to animals what we think is 'cute' but makes the animals suffer as a result.
