As a former French hornist, I love your videos, and have a new appreciation for all-horn pieces (i generally never like pieces that are exclusively written for one instrument). Sarah, hearing you do big basslines, what's your range on the instrument?
The horn has a 4-octave range so probably that. However, there are more notes in the upper register though so over that. The range is essentially infinite up there.
Looking at the helpful young man who held the sheet music, I'm reminded of the young ball playing fan in the movie "42" who went on to play in the major leagues. Does the youngster play, I wonder.
