Mayfly fishing on the lake over two evenings using the Spent Gnat dry Mayfly. It is the last of the season until next year. Lough Derg on the river Shannon.Yes , I thought I had the trout in front of the camera. Had to show the spin home on the lake on this beautiful evening.

Great video. Done that a number of times 10 or so years ago. Derg is a fantastic lake . The Spent is such a special cast . To see huge trout cruising and sipping, ignorant to an artificial gets the adrenaline going. 🇮🇪Tight lines
