Test drove a CLA 45 s as I was considering ordering the GLA 45 s as they are same engines and similar interior. Amazing car and needless to say I ordered the GLA 45 s as I was so impressed.
My fav performance SUV: G Wagon. My fav 7 seater SUV: GLS class. My fav GT: Mercedes GTR. My fav convertible: SLK, C300 Cabriolet, E class cabriolet. My fav luxury sedan: S class, Maybach S guard. My fav sedan I would love to own: C 300 cabriolet. And I am not obsessed with the brand Mercedes but all of these beautiful cars have been created by the Mercedes. Yeah, Mercedes is my fav automobile brand... Hands down.
I moved from a Maserati Granturismo to a CLA 45 and its like I get all the fun of a 4.7ltr V8 without the petrol bill....plus if I don't want unnecessary attention I just flip to comfort mode. Genuinely don't feel like I've lost any power whatsoever. The CLA45 is amazing and when I eventually trade it for a 45-S then all bets are off.
Love the new CLA45s. Looks incredible, absolutely perfect. A bit disappointed about the sound though, I know there are regulations they have to follow now sadly, although it feels like they could’ve done a bit more to it. It sounds pretty decent however when driving it, you get some pops & crackles, just miss it when revving it!
I feel in love with the amg cla45 and after 2 years or so my love for it kind of faded but I might’ve just found it w dis one. Mercedes did they thing w dis one here nfs
I really love this car I’ll buy it when it’s 2 year old I can’t afford it now in 2 years maybe this car will be 37k canadian or 35k it’s good value when you buy it after few years I like small engine cars because easier to get access to I love the S class but in the hood the engine too big it’s really hard to get things done without dealer that’s why I like 2.0 engines it’s much better That’s my opinion

CLA has been on my watchlist for a long time, I'll get the CLA 200 version which is really affordable in the Netherlands. This version is twice as expensive due to taxes. Also you can buy a replacement grill with vertical lines instead of the diamond pattern grill to make it look more aggresive. It makes the front more aggressive and also fools some people in thinking it's an CLA 45. :) I love the power domes, headlights and of course the backside of the CLA that makes it a lot more sporty than the A-class Limousine version.
I would always prefer the CLA over A Class due to it’s aggressive design language! The A Class (Sedan) looks a bit too soft if you are not going for the 45 model 😅 I really love the CLA, it’s a pretty daily with a decent consumption & looks absolutely amazing! Thank you for your Comment Bro ✌🏼
i could list you 10 mercs that look better then this. this is just a normal small economy car with a slope roof and a really efficient engine. look just a few years back and you find real mercedes gems like the c63 black series or the sls. this thing will be forgotten in less than a year because it has no character or drama at all.

IssaLyfeStyle power? if you want power get a tesla.. some people not only want power but also the sound...Thats why naturally aspirated v8 or even a turbo charged one without opf filter will give it to me better than some shitty ass 4 cylinder. If I want a 4 cylinder car then I would buy a regular Toyota.
Really Appreciate for sharing the new 2020 CLA45S with us. I own a 2017 CLA45 yellow night edition. Major updates on the front grill, head lights and tail lights. The command system and display screen is much nicer but I don't bother because personally don't want to be distracted by the screen. The old CLA45 has louder and more angry pops and cracks that's true. The new one doesn't sound bad truly just a different style.
Arnold buddy it’s hard for me to justify anyone spending over $70K for a 4 cylinder engine ...it’s outrageous despite the horsepower. Regardless it is beautiful.
Spoke to soon because even the new c63 is a 4 cylinder which is the same engine as the 45 Amg plus an electric motor. Other cars will follow in the near future.
love the 19" Black double spoke rims. Agree with you that it's better than the multi spoke rims which is on all AMGs these days. Can the rims silver lining be blacked out? Performance seats looks so nice.
You can black out the rims on yourself that would be no problem! And yes, the performance seats look very nice & sporty but they are a bit too stiff for daily usage for comfortable drivers like me😅

@@mr.benz the complete restyling they've done to the 🍑 with the night package makes the exhaust and back look amazing. For the price, this car is just outstanding. Although I do have to say the last CLA 45 amg, was more of a low-key car in the sense it didn't bring that much of attention public-wise. You could have a stunning car with people barely noticing whether or not it was de CLA 45 or a CLA 220 (main deference where the 4 exhaust tips in the CLA 45). In this model now you can almost instantly that you are driving a beast. Which is great for people who like to show off but not so much por people who appreciate a great car but still wanna stay low key. Despite this, the interior is next level & second to none. Mercedes are doing a great job.

Can’t you change it out for something else in interior options before purchasing ? That’s what my parents did when they got their 2019 GLC. They swapped it for the Natural Grain Black Ash Wood with the aluminium. Or is it different for other models
Piano black belongs on instruments, not cars. Funny thing is the high end Steinways and whatnot have gorgeous MATTE ebony finishes - that’s something I’d actually like to see in a car.

No, you can’t. As I mentioned the CLA45 & A45 models come with active Interior sound speakers which will give you great sound in the Interior but from the Outside it won’t be that loud unfortunately

Both great cars, performance of the 45 is breathtaking. The 35 makes a better Daily but the 45 just looks much better so you have some hard decisions to make here 😅
Mr. Benz63 I mean the proportion. Personally I dont like the rear end of gt4doors （especially without the aero pack），and although cla has similar body shape like the gt 4doors，its rear end is much prettier in my opinion.

No, you can’t. As I mentioned the CLA45 & A45 models come with active Interior sound speakers which will give you great sound in the Interior but from the Outside it won’t be that loud unfortunately

Both great cars, performance of the 45 is breathtaking. The 35 makes a better Daily but the 45 just looks much better so you have some hard decisions to make here 😅

I know I'm late but, yes you can. Mercedes takes the sound you hear from the speakers from the actual car, it's not pre-recorded audio.

Mr. Benz63 I mean the proportion. Personally I dont like the rear end of gt4doors （especially without the aero pack），and although cla has similar body shape like the gt 4doors，its rear end is much prettier in my opinion.
@@zihaoye2433 yes but if the 2 are next to each other the GT4s presence is undeniable. I own a 2020 CLA250 in Magno Grey and there's a few GT4s around here and in person they are MEAN!
Daygo G of course. My friend drive a gt63s and it embarrass every single car around the campus. You dont spend over 150k dollars for no reason lol🤣🤣. Huge presence，I am only saying that rear end is not pretty as the fascia.

The new law really destroys this beast. Even fake AMG like C43 sounds better. I’m so sad to see now owners have to modify the exhaust of a real AMG.....
Back then you could not even think about changing anything because it was already the best exhaust system on the market

Great review, i really hope that Mercedes will get rid of the Piano black trim i really hate it a lot.
Not a big fan. I hope they create Alternatives such as Dark Wood trim, Matt Piano or maybe Carbon Optic 🤔
@@mr.benz Yea that's so true i was thinking roughly the same idea. I'm not sure why Mercedes like piano black trim a lot, it attract scratches, finger print and dust as what you mention in your review.
