"Fall Weather Friends" is another one of my favorite season 1 episodes! It was very interesting to learn that AJ and RD have a rivalry. Though It's so secret that their competitive natures got out of hand, But at least in the end they both learned that they each may be good at something but neither of them is best at everything.
In fact, As the voice actor for both of them. Ashleigh Ball herself once said that the rivalry between AJ and RD is one of the biggest things that she likes about them as characters!
As for "Suited For Success" fun fact: It's the first ever episode I watched of mlp fim, It was the one that got interested in the fandom! Which is why it's one of my favorites. Hell "Art of the Dress" is still considered to be one of the most memorable season 1 songs!!!

Don't think too hard about episode order continuity in the first few seasons. They were made at a time when the writers weren't too concerned about continuity and long-term story arcs, and due to events in later episodes the events in seasons 1 through 4 essentially happen within the same year. Which of course also means that the timeline continuity is an out of order mess for the first few seasons. Particularly holiday episodes, episodes with a very obvious weather season, and episodes tied to big events like the Gala.
