- Great to see another loco back from overhaul! GWR Castle Class 5043 'Earl of Mount Edgcumbe' is back on the mainlines after 5 years out for overhaul with a loaded test circuit run from Tyseley.
Seen through Coleshill and headed towards Nuneaton/Leicester - The Earl sounds great and isn't hanging around!
Hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for watching.

Thank You for the powerful images.
If it wasn't for Covid19,I want to go England.
They chance to visit will hopefully soon come 🙏👍
Very good camera work as usual cracking video well done great to see 5043 back in work
Thanks - Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Without question the most well restored Castle for me
We now have two double chimney Castles. Wouldn't it be nice to see Pendennis Castle go main line to compliment them, though Didcot seems to have given up on that idea. Still, the overhauls of Nunney Castle and Defiant seem to be coming along
Well pendennis Castle is running at svr in their spring steam gala first time on rails in years
Guessing she's off to Stratford tomorrow on the north Warwickshire line
Her first tour will be double heading with Clun Castle to Didcot
That will be amazing to see.
Lot of steam
Pemdenis will never go main line again unless se one pays for the certification and the expense of the modern signalling equiitment I used to look after her during its ownership by the honourable lord gretton days at market Overton we lost her when she was sold to hammersly iron railway society in Australia glad she is back I hope to see her shortly at Bridgenorth in April I did actually driver her at least once absolutely amazing loco
Please tell me she was draging that diesel
Absolutely - She was flat chat.. No help from the diesel there 👍
It seems they still prefer to haul short trains with Castles
