Great stuff Kris. I do like your combination of excellent artistic and also excellent technical filming. The first shot is gorgeous - I do love going there myself but have never seen steam there! We nearly bought a house up in the village. Lovely smooth zoom-framing at Pangbourne even if the speed wasn't up to much, and that whistle and spot-on panning at Andover - wow! Some people (me included) always mistime pans at speed, but yours always make me feel as though I'm there. Thanks Kris! Tim
Thanks very much Alan :) It is a lovely spot at Heyford, I was very lucky to have such fantastic weather there. Yes I may very well see you about for the GB VI, it'll be interesting to see what turns up, I've heard talk of Clan Line and one of Ian Riley's Black 5's!
Excellent work Kris: loved the first location, I remember it well from my canal cruising days. Superb pan at Andover. Might see you lineside on the GB at the weekend (if it actually runs with steam!!) Alan
Lovey video once again, What an lovey shot at Heyford and now made me what to go there in the future looks lovey! Pangbourne will not say nothing already someone is running for the life :P Andover was an cracking shot even for me
Thanks very much Dave :) Yeah really glad I went to Heyford for the first shot, the static shot definitely works better than if I had zoomed and panned.
Thanks very much Dan :D Always a next time as you say, was a bit of a squeeze on Platform One so we could all get a shot in. Good meeting up again at Salisbury.
Outstanding clips at Heyford and Andover. Bit of a disappointment at Pangbourne as you had a nice view. 2/3 not bad. I score 0/2 when the Earl ran into London the previous week. Barry
Love your work Kris... great first shot (doesn't get more atmospheric than that and like your little vignettes of life in general) and the Andover shot was brill!!!!…☁☁☁⁘⁙☁☁⁙..☁……Hᴜɢʜ….Lɪᴋᴇᴅ…..ツ
