I am told you can do a lot of cool stuff with it, like easily paying your taxes online. 😅 Hopefully the new Labour government will introduce a mandatory electronic ID even in the uk. After all, if they want to control immigration the government must have an easy and quick way to check who is a citizen/legal resident and who is not. Right? 😉

I have a massive amount of admiration and respect for people who have the guts to admit they were wrong. It shows intelligence, integrity and backbone. Well done to you.
Wise is what you are. I too voted for Brexit largely hoping most folk will vote to remain. As I saw many businesses using the influx of Eastern Europeans to continue to depreciate wages and undermine the British working classes. I hoped that my protest vote will cause the government to correct these issues. But unfortunately I must have been alone in my views. As the fools took charge. Hence I regret my vote to leave. I hope there is another referendum on re-joining Europe. I would put three x in one box to join.
That was the inherent flaw with the referendum in the first place. Something as monumental, that would have generational implications, should have had a threshold of at least 2/3rd of the population participation.
