I'm currently in the hospital getting fluid taken off me, too. I feel you, kitty! ❤
@lovelyfox9689 feel better ! ❤❤
Wishing good outcomes for you. Take care.
Do random people confidently assume you have FIP?
This episode hit hard. We just put to sleep our cat, Mr. Roo, yesterday after he was diagnosed with stomach cancer on Monday. Everything seemed good until last week he quit eating almost anything and he always loved food.
I weighed him and he had dropped a pound in 4 days time. Got him in to see our vet and ultrasound found tumor in stomach and another spot on his liver. We're heartbroken.
Condolences, it's never easy to lose any pet.
I'm sixty and have had animals all my life. I know what you're feeling right now.

@@gryphenicedancer8796 Thank you, I appreciate it more than you know.
I’m so very sorry for your loss! I’m watching my 14 yr old dog as she seems to be in much more pain with her legs and joints. I’m afraid I’ll be needing to make a difficult decision sooner than later.
@@jesusbeloved3953 Thank you. I am so sorry you are probably going to be facing that difficult choice also.
It must have been terribly difficult that it happened so fast. Losing a pet to cancer (or anything, really) is always incredibly hard, but it's even more difficult when things happen so suddenly and you only have a few days to figure things out and make decisions. But I'm glad that you did what was best for your beloved family member and kept them out of pain. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Katie looked a lot like Grumpy Cat except Grumpy cat had and an underbite. Rest in Peace Katie. I hope you're having fun pouncing around heaven with Grumpy Cat.
I just love the purple-braided nurse with her adorable freckles! She seems very dedicated and always has a smile
Nova is SO PRECIOUS 😭❤️
As Her Late Majesty once observed: "Grief is the price we pay for love"...and it's easy to see that Katie was loved very much.
Doc Mara rocks! And Nova is such a gorgeous pup.
Isn’t he a lovley vet looking after Katie 🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️
❤️💙💜Bernice: You can't fool me dad. I know who this hooman is. Stand back dad, I will protect you. I just need to turn on the big dog in me. I just love your little Bernice . 😊 ❤️
I am really enjoying all of the new Vets this season, but what a joy to see Dani again!
Poor dogs, and they will do their best. Beautiful Golden Doodle. Beautiful Ragdoll, I have friends that have a Ragdoll too.
This show is so wonderful, such a variety of animals and maladies. The care is always so compassionate.
Rip Katie, such a beautiful kitty 😢💝
Rest in peace Katie. 😢😢
Nova is such a big baby! I love heeeeeerrrrr QAQ
Mara is so lovely with the animals. I'm enjoying her humour this season.
Everyone is amazing, thank you all so much for your work and care on these poor little babies :')
I just especially want to say Dr. Zammit is so amazing, and I just love his careful delivery of words and diagnoses in every episode I see him in. I am sure it comes with the experience in the practice but he is so gentle and caring and considerate to every patient, animal and human.
Amazing Vets. Thank you for sharing 😊❤
What a great place Larry lives. Thank you for making such a place for the animal actors. ❤️
So early yay!!❤🎉
The only reason why i watch Bondivet is bc i wanna become a vet!! I learn so much from you guys everyday! From things that are deadly to healthy for them. Yall inspire me!❤
Seeing Katie’s issues breaks my heart. I lost my beloved Ragdoll cat Ollie to pleurisy two years ago. His lungs ballooned up with fluid that just wouldn’t drain away. It was beyond heartbreaking to have him put to sleep. A lifetime of perfect health and we lost him in less that 48 hours. These Coast to Coast vets are phenomenal, people and their pets are so very lucky to have their dedication and expertise.🙏💞🇬🇧
Poor baby
I recognize that sonographer... wasn't he working at SASH before?
Poor Katie, RIP 💔
I have no idea how long ago this episode was produced, but let me just say how much I love Vets who love animals and owners who feel the same way. Those of us who have lost pets to cancer know how it feels and how traumatic it is. Thank you Bondi for sharing these episodes!!!
I had a Ragdall! He developed a sist in his nose, and kept sneezing blood. I had to put him down. That was the worst day of my life
Dr Maura is my FAVEEEE!!! ❤❤❤
Dani ! It’s good to see you.😊
Loved Dr Maura. You should have her more often. She has great and funny affect.
Get Well soon Katie
BEAUTIFUL Katie ❤❤
I had fluid in my belly and to have it drained several times and the doctors insisted it had to be cancer but surgery proved the doctors wrong. It was a uterine fibroid and an ovarian cyst
Thank you.
I absolutely HATE kitty cancer. I've lost two moggies to it. Its heartbreaking.
Poor Katie . RIP such a great job you did for her
oh fuch I hope they can stop the bleeding
Mara is such a great vet she was amazing with Nora.
My heart goes out to Katie’s momma
Poor babies!!
Also sounds like a uti
I had a cat who had mystery abdominal fluid. It wasn't FIP or liver failure or cancer, the ultrasound and bloodwork were inconclusive. The only thing visibly wrong with him was a bad kidney, which doesn't cause that symptom. In the end I just had to have him drained once a month until his kidneys eventually caught up with him. I always said he was running dog software on cat hardware, so of course he ended up with a dog problem.
Thats acites fluid in the belly
forbidden juice
Poor Kitt
That fluid looks like acites.
looks like they need to rehome Romulus, looks like he is a one person bird.
OMG
I had a cat who started spending all his time in the litter box. First we tried antibiotics, assuming it was a bladder infection, but they didn't do any good. Exploratory surgery showed pretty extensive bladder cancer. The vet phoned me while he was still on the operating table, and we euthanized him while he was still asleep. He was such a neat cat and not very old so it was very sad.
I love these vids, vets do a good job. Only cringe was when I heard " lift with your back"
That is sad
Hope they know about FIP cat could have that
classic wet FIP symptoms UGH
You know they are vet right?
@@tenadavidson7392that's exactly what I thought. We had to put our little Roo to sleep because of it.
@@beckyschmidt8347 😔 sorry for your loss
It's very rare for a cat her age to have wet FIP.
I like the vet from Miami.
Could Dr Edwards pants be any tighter? They are 2 sizes too small.😊
R.I.P Katie. 😢
Special need usually autism. Maybe these 2 people are. Mine is also ASD high function borderline.
:/ :( 😔
Is it just the Miami dr is really tall or are they making it look like that on purpose?
Do only rich people go to this practice? Because these treatment plans are not cheap.
Am I the only one
No lol
No u were just too early
I fell bad for the pets
Me too 😢😢😢😢😢😢
😢😢😢😢
The censor is so frustrating for people who love to learn. (yes, I know that the bot will strike down other ways.)
❤🇨🇦
Can we get a second channel or an upload of the uncensored video for over 18s or SOMETHING. Pretty much every procedure is blurred and censored nowadays, I get it, ad revenue and RUclips auto detects blood etc but can't there just be a second channel or a different video uploaded for people to watch?
Like I enjoy the medical sides of these shows, I worked in a vets myself so I want to see it all haha.
🙏🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇
Jess stop farting
Be responsible and neuter your pets!
That poor Rag Doll had classic symptoms of wet FIP. This makes me so angry because there is a cure. That surgery was unnecessary. This baby suffered for a whole month????? That parent would have done anything to help her furr baby. Yes there are "issues" with the treatment but there is a work around that could have saved that cat. I am FUMING
Did you actually watch the video? Did you miss the part where the pathology report said it was aggressive CANCER? Even the preliminary tests showed abnormal (cancerous) cells. FYI, the "cure" for FIP isn't 100% yet. Also FIP affects younger cats more. Look it up.
I would like to give the vet the benefit of the doubt and say that perhaps this is his first time seeing a case like this. It seems pretty rare and someone who hasn’t seen it before would have to do lots of testing and sometimes the testing causes problems. So certain, he has learned from this experience and knows better how to react the next time a similar patient comes through.
That is a good way to look at it. The treatment is a main topic of veterinary medicine globally. I do pray for this cure to be made more available @@meganpopple9100
It was cancer.
The cat had cancer, and they weren’t able to treat it.
When I'm older I plan on working there
