Comparing Ryobi 1855(1speed) and Makita DUH 502(3 speeds)? Which is better and why?

Hi, I have not tried the Makita DUH 502, so I cannot share this experience, but as I compared Ryobi and Makita 18v drilling machines, I noticed that for a cheaper price, Ryobi ones have better batteries and are more powerfull. Ryobi 18v batteries are really good ones, and often offers a very good price / performance ratio. Having said that, Makita is known to make good and long lasting tools. What I think, is if you already own Makita 18 batteries, choose Makita edge trimmer, otherwise, choose Ryobi one.

@@et2781 therefore i ordered Makita, but i will try to use Ryobi batt on Makita tool, over 3D printed adapter Ryobi-Makita ( to make sure of your statements) :-), everything is in the LiIon cells used in 5S lipo pack that are used...that, with batteries it is tricky... makita 5Ah use Sony Liion cells
