    Mount San Jacinto stands 10,834 feet above sea level and is the second highest mountain range in Southern California.
    The San Jacinto Peak Loop Trail is a 17.4-mile loop trail near Idyllwild-Pine Cove, California.
    It's a popular area for hiking, camping, and backpacking.
    The Mount San Jacinto State Park was established in 1933 and is managed by the California Department of Parks and Recreation. The park is 21.87 square miles and is located near the Greater Los Angeles and San Diego metropolitan areas.
