Due to mismanagement and low passenger numbers, FlyLili has closed their base at the airport, leaving WizzAir as the sole airline there until 11 weekly charter flights begin in the summer. Nevertheless, the airport authorities have said that WizzAir and Ryanair will open new routes, and that discussions with Transavia are ongoing. We really hope its true!!!
Very well done video, taking plenty of time as it presented the images allowing the viewer to study the detail of the castle. The videographer held the camera in such a way as not to make the viewer dizzy. Highly recommended. I found it most interesting since I wrote a novel recently called Torment of the Bloodlines about Dracul Tapes. with reference to the castle Bran. Thank you.

YVR is home base for me 🇨🇦. However the downfall is the lack of washrooms as soon as you get off the plane for international arrivals. You have to walk to the very end of the elevated walkway to find a washroom after a long trans-pacific flight. Overall pretty nice airport for North American standards!

The elevated walkway that is part of YVR's international arrivals area, a long corridor walk through to the customs area, has been probably designed for traffic flow only lacking the immediate amenities that travelers expect after long-haul flights. It looks like airport has been undergoing continuous upgrades and expansions, including the addition of more amenities for passengers. However, older sections of the terminal, particularly in areas like customs and arrivals, may not have all the conveniences found in newer parts of the airport. Appreciate your perspective!

A great shame we no longer have the Dunlaoghaire to Holyhead service.
It’s always sad to hear about routes like that being discontinued, especially when they hold a lot of memories for people. The Dublin-Holyhead service is still a great way to cross, but I can see why many would miss the Dun Laoghaire connection.
