It’s actually quite impressive how evenly they injected detox with silicone. I thought she had implants not injections.
It’s SUPER impressive! She must’ve been injected with good quality medical grade stuff. These black market surgeries are so hit or miss.

I love how much Dr. Debrow knows about the drag life. I would imagine it helps the client feel confident in him, and also just reinforces the fact that his office is a safe space, without judgment for anyone seeing him. This has to be my favorite episode ❤

@@user-iq5xw2xh4z I was thinking that too but I don’t know if I would say millionaire but definitely she has money so She should be able to take a few weeks off of work. Maybe she has legal contracts to film or perform ect where she is not allowed to take that much time off right now.?
@@Noa_Lynnit was right after season 9 so it's very likely that she indeed had a lot of obligations like many queens do and also drag is expensive. We may look at the queens who make it on the show as success story but they are also under the pressure of having to do more and have to pay for more. So it kinda balances it out. I'm not saying they're broke but they are also very much not as rich as some people believe. She is not a millionaire either. She can afford a house at least (which is miraculous in this economy), but she isn't settled for retirement for example.

I respect how honest and clear these doctors are. It can be so hard to get doctors to respect and listen to you. Plastic surgery docs seem like a different breed.

Their drag is so different to each other, but they’re both superstars onstage.

Ugh i love drag queens. Been a drag race fan since season 4 was airing, theres something so comforting about drag queens. It's kinda sad trinity felt like she had to get plastic surgery to be able to hold her own in her career, and then couldnt get it fixed because she couldnt take time off. The dedication and commitment is real. Shes one of the most passionate girls in the game

I never knew Detox got abdominal implants. He’s talked about his other surgeries before, but I’ve never heard him mention the abs. I can empathize with him. I had my abs done too and feel like I was mutilated. I started having problems right from the gecko. I even went back to the doctor and he did a follow up procedure. I feel like I was deceived and being fed a line of BS each time I expressed my concerns I am so miserable and have so many regrets, I can truly understand how detox feels. Unfortunately, I do not have his fame or fortune to fix the problem that I created.

I think I remember detox saying that she had muscle implants in season 5. I think she was referring to her chest instead of her abs though. It was when they were doing that military workout challenge thing. I might be wrong. I think she was joking saying that she had the body but not the functionality lol

The drag industry needs to take a good, long look at itself. The number of drag artists getting illegal and highly risky procedures is deeply concerning and seems to be in epidemic proportions. I think it’s a worrying contradiction that we hear so much about self love and acceptance from this industry but so much desire to change and “improve” themselves through surgery etc. I’m a gay man btw so not hate here just a lot of concern!

The doctors are funny. I've never watched botched before
You should check out some of their other episodes. They have helped people who have been seriously mangled by incompetent doctors. One major issue is that in the States, you don't have to be certified as a designated plastic surgeon, a ear, nose, and throat doctor can do plastic surgery. It's important to only go to a board certified plastic surgeon. Here in Canada, all plastic surgeons must be board certified and prove their competence before being allowed to start in on somebody's face.
Like I mentioned, some of the horrific things that have been done to(mostly) women's faces, breasts, and tummies, is heartbreaking.

Yeah I am not a fan of lip filler. Especially when the top lip is bigger than the bottom one. I am always an advocate of loving the skin you are in. Of course unless you want gender reaffirming surgery or you have some kind of disfigurement. Anyways whatever makes you happy right.

Rayon and viscose are cellulose fibers, which means they come from trees. They do not give off micro plastics from washing. In fact, when you see “bamboo” and think it’s “natural” in most cases it’s Rayon which goes through the same chemical bath of caustic soda as any other kind of Rayon

They all want a quick fix and are surprised when it’s not, but the truth is that looking for a quick fix is what got them to that point and caused problems in the first place. It’s better to spend the time and get it done right than wait and have the surgery become more dangerous or have the problem become more serious.
