    So many times chunky gave Jhazzo too much credit thinking he would tech. He could have dtilted reset into the punch and won.

      @gerardorodriguez7858 Месяц назад +6

      I mean, in that sense he didnt give him enough credit since he failed to predict what his opponent would do.

      I agree. He also didn’t use ftilt or dtilt enough in this match compared to the other sets this tourney imo. It felt like he was nervous here and kept trying to force the giant punch

    Why does CK never use side b,is that bad at high level?

    • @danyaguirrebroca3844
      @danyaguirrebroca3844 Месяц назад +17

      Yeah, it's an alright move. It's reactable, easy to parry or jump out of. It's got some endlag too, so you can punish it well. Also, if it connects, you can mash out of it pretty easily.

    • @aclios
      @aclios Месяц назад +11

      It's really risky to use, it has so much endlag that it's a free combo starter for the opponent if it misses and since DK is combo food...
      Also the reward is not that great, the opponent can mash out pretty fast. At low percent you kinda need to read something to start a string and at high percent, unless you have punch, it's not that easy to connect something: Umash doesn't connect on a lot of burried characters, Fsmash is quite slow and Dsmash is quite bad as killing.
      It's fine to use it to call out a Shield Break since the move do a lot of shield damage, or on a big read, but in general you won't see it a lot in high level

    • @happyducky9872
      @happyducky9872 Месяц назад +2

      It only properly hits grounded opponents, is slow, is laggy - those are all huge problems at high level. Especially for a move that isnt always that rewarding across the cast.

      Mixups in air against ledge trapping opponents on stage seems to be the biggest competitive visibility that I've seen. Feels like similar use to most bad counters

    That ding dong is insanely consistent for no good reason. DI seems ineffective.
    Getting grabbed midstage at 55% and losing the stock with no counterplay is lame. Even if it is DK.

    • @TheZachtobie
      @TheZachtobie Месяц назад

      Most of the ranges for ding dong have around a 10 to 15% variance and are based on rage, which stage, and staled up airs. It only looks ridiculous because chunky knows all the numbers. If people don't want to get ding donged then they can just learn the numbers and know when he wants a grab.

    NGL, I hope this is the last of FGC in Smash. No more auto turnaround, no more up close mashing that you cannot punish even WITH parrying.

    • @user-be3qc7re9o

      You clearly don't know how to play against them.
      Outside of Kazuya, every single FGC is no greater than a High Tier.
      People like you are the reason why the Smash Community gets a bad rep.
