I love your zipper system. It is so much easier to use and much more accurate and results in a squarer quilt. Thanks for your tips. I do prefer the safety pins. When I use the straight pins, it never fails, I get stuck by them. Can't wait to see your next Angie's Answers.
Thank you so much! I rent a longarm quilting machine and before watching this, I always had to redo my pinning once I got to the shop. This was very helpful!
Thank you for the video of how to pin on the zippers. I have pinned them the wrong way before. This was a great how to video.I bought mine after Adam did a fast video after you showed him how you all use them in class. He is such a funny guy.❤️
I just watched Adam's video on you zipper system. Wow, such a game changer for those who are challenged standing and loading a quilt. I load a quilt and have to wait a day to recover before I can begin quilting. Thanks for sharing your system and the clear explanation on how to use the zippers. Much appreciated!!
Hi Angie, I saw the video you and Adam just posted on the quick zipper system. It appears to be more efficient than pinning to leaders. Thank you for posting the video and sharing your knowledge.
Hi Angie! I have just learned about you watching Adams giveaway. I like the zippers and always have sewed them on. But I am going to try the pinning. I would really love to have Another set. I am going to watch your videos now. Exciting
Hi Suzy!! We did try to have 4 zippers on one back and it got really thick on the roller bars on the sides…. I was worried about it twisting or tucking so I always just have the 2 zippers on one back. Great question!! Happy Quilting!
I was watching a video on the sewtites pinning system yesterday. Can these 2 system be used together? I am going to be a new long arm quilter by fall when we get our remodeling done and am trying to do some pretraining.
My leaders are duct taped to my frame. do you have a video on how to attach the zippers to the leaders without having to take them off the frame? maybe hand baste?
Hi Debra, I don’t have a video for that… in our paper manual we do have the steps listed out for sewing them while on your frame. We are happy to setup a quick zoom call before you sew to help explain more!
Any chance you can do a video instruction on how the zipper and leaders work when you switch frame to clear view? The Handi quilter videos indicate if you use in clear view a lot to flip the leader so the you are not rolling back against the Velcro but then that means my zipper is in the other side of frame and the stamping is no longer accurate
Hey Stacy, I’m so sorry I didn’t see this sooner!! Yes, we are working on a system that would be a spare canvas with the zipper stitched to the other end. I can email you when we have that available!
We have a full video on the next steps of loading on a frame and then using a channel lock to keep the quilts nice and square. It’s on our website www.LongarmConnection.com and the video is called Load it/Square it/Quilt it. We do not have a video on sewing the zippers to canvas, but we do include a detailed manual with our machine set zippers.
@@goodboyphoenix Yeah no, that’s stupid. I’m not paying $40 to see how a system works before buying a system. That’s definitely not a great marketing strategy!
Hi Becky! Yes we sell the replacement manuals on our website stores.longarmconnection.com/replacement-manual-only-for-the-quick-zip-system-machine-sets/
It saves doing it standing up at the Q frame. Then you can pin it on sitting down or baste it on to the zips. It also saves your back from reaching across the frame to pin on.
Yet another award-winning tutorial. You make so much sense and I thank you.
Excellent video! Everything thoroughly explained. You have a natural ability for teaching!
Thank you so much!!
Would love to have the zippers! Anything that will make the loading process more streamlined! Watched Adam tell all about them.
I love my new zipper system. I wish I had switched to it sooner! Great customer support. Thanks, Angie! (Dawn)
Very good instructions.
@@eleanorevans1075 thank you!!
it would be nice to have a video on how to attach zippers onto your leaders.....

Love the zipper system. Glad to learn about them.

You are welcome!! So glad it helps!
I love my zippers! A second set is on my Christmas wish list.
Watched Adam Sew Fun’s video on your zipper system, then watched this one and immediately ordered the system! Can’t wait to get them!
Oh great!! Thank you so much Joanne!! If you have any questions when you get the system give us a call! 262-723-6775

The zipper system is the best! Wouldn't load a quilt any other way!
I am so happy Adam, of AdamSewFun posted the link to this video. It is super helpful.

Great demo! I’d love one on loading on clear view using zippers!
Is there a video showing how to attach the zippers onto the longarm leaders?
Great video.
I am excited to find your channel through Adam sew fun. I just got a new-to-me longarm. I can't wait to watch all your content!
I enjoyed your video with Adam. I learned a lot.
Thanks! I can’t wait to try this!
Thanks for the great. video!
Can I use the zipper system with the clear view method of loading? It would appear that the zipper for the top would be backward??
Thank you Angie this will be most helpful when the time comes to load things up. Still practicing.

Is there any way possible to put zippers on all four sides in case you want to do borders without having to go to a lot of trouble?

Do you have a video in how to attach the zippers to the leaders? Also can you use the zipper system if you float your top?
I want some of these
Would love to purchase this but a little too expensive for me

I think I saw a video where someone else attached the zips while on the longarm. Maybe do a search.

Not sure how this saves time as you are still pinning half the time?
