This Thor is actually slightly taller then the correct height for the fig. as C. Hemsworth is 6'3" tall (which computes to 6.25" on a 1/12 scale) so he's actually not on the short-side (as noted in the video) & also he's approx. 2-3/16 taller (video says he's shorter than SHFA IW Cap.) then SHFA IW Cap. which is about right on a 1/12 scale since C. Evans is 6'0" tall. This is a MCU Thor so height should approx. the actor converted to a 1/12 scale. Obviously the ML IW Thor is way too tall so who knows where Hasbro determined scale for its fig. as nowhere close to 1/12 scale. Comic book Thor maybe should be a taller scale but since this is a MCU version SHFA appears to be spot-on for the height, fyi.
It seems that the proportions of this version of Thor is harder to nail than the others. The director says that because Hemsworth was SO buffed, they actually CGI-ed his arms slimmer to look "more human". Not sure if they adjusted other body parts too, but this might have contributed to Ragnarok Thor figures looking weirdly dwarfed...
Thanks for the height comparisons! I like him a lot, but wonder if SHF's teased Infinity War Thor will match Captain American in height better (I can't really afford both, though this one seems like an excellent sculpt).
It's a good thor figure and Def better than the last one. I wouldve gotten it if it came with an unhelmeted too since it looks like a fun figure. Mezco takes forever but I had to go with them on this one, but shf Def has my money for the infinity war version

just like to point out that's a single joint elbow. you only get one swivel out of it. double joint has two swivel point. sometimes in your review you call double joint elbow singles for lack of movement, but calls single joint doubles such as this case. it gets confusing.
