This is why I always buy physical copies of games. Once you buy a game it should be playable by anyone on that console. They want us to own nothing and be happy about it
This new little update is such BS. I buy all the games w my money and now my siblings can’t play simply bc they were purchased through me. And plus, I made an extra acc to buy the 18+ games and NOW I can’t even play it anymore (Persona games) I’m honestly rly upset bc why can’t the other accounts play?
There is something called primary console..that's the reason you cant share between accounts. If your switch is primary console you can do splitscreen and coop with the pther accounts on the switch. For me it was borderlands 2 . Me n lil bro want to play hope this helps
They are creating their own rule by not specifying what that message really mean. Even if all my secondary Switch are always connected to the net, that message still manage to pop up. Something tells there a timer if you're switching between too many secondary. Nintendo love controls and restrictions.
For Switch players I think I may have figured this out because none of these steps worked I have two switch accounts but my console wasn’t register as primary for my main account so I couldn’t play games on my other accounts until I deregistered the other devices online and then register my account as primary on my device. Sorry for the long explanation I hope this made sense
This has happened with physical asking for updates. Also I have digital downloads say stopped due to corruption. Check shows no corruption. Hard starts, updates, removing and replacing all cards. Still nothing. I am not buying anymore digital until this is fixed. And why are cartridges with advertised complete games need updates anyway? Maybe lying and the cartridge is only a digital code? That would be messed up. Bought the River City Girls combo pack. Supposed to have both games. The second game asks for a download that doesn't work. Broforce Forever said all of game and all DLC on cart. Asks for download, won't work. Don't ask us for a digital world if your shit isn't going to work.

Literally I’ve been playing on two accounts on the same console and suddenly today I can no longer play on another account

My solution was the microSD card was loose and I just put it back boom it started working
I just lost my game forever 🤷
My microSD card just randomly stopped working with all of my save data in it 😢 that’s the reason I was getting the notification
