To be honest llama you need to put a little bit more strategy to duels as Necro, it's like speedrunning there are decisions made based on outcome, difference is that on duels with Necro you can direct the output to make a decision based on an already made up outcome... What I mean: 1st position your self south from your opponent, that gives you more screen view, 2nd mine a side, lets say left from your opponent with spirits, then use spear poiting right to the opponent not directly to him to force him go left, he will meet the spirits and get damage. Thats one strategy out of... well a few more... when using spear use the "3 spears" technique, left then right then middle, meaning don't point to your opponent if you shoot he will move shoot to his landing position not his actual position, going left right middle of him you confuse him... and finally... use Teeth it's your MAIN attack more so against an Enigma user, well back in my days of duels in the server that I played Enigma was forbidden for Duels cause well... its more fun without it for sure more strategic and less caotic.

I am much more a fan of good old LLD's instead of endgame PvP --- Low Level Duelists have to really plan their build and gear out for maximum effect and there's no drawn out fights on account of zooming around at Mach 2 via tele spam lol. the game is too big, without teleport the game would be so boring. if you don’t want everyone to just play sorc, enigma is necessary. and it’s expensive enough to make it a sought after item so it’s not like everyone is just teleporting around

Teleport ruins PVP and the whole game honestly. Teleporting needs a 5 second hard cooldown on the enigma. If you're a wizard it needs a two-second hard cooldown.
Teleport is a necessary evil. Pvm is a must for very obvious reasons the game would've died without it. For pvp if you don't have quick teleport then the balance would be ruined because of other skills like bone wall. Fixing this would require a separate mode and map for pvp and is more than this game will ever get. Like setting up arenas with accurate matchmaking and giving you options to change rules of individual pvp matches.
Today I thought of a cool idea what if set items were able to go ethereal and indestructible with a cube recipe. Also have a variable add enhanced damage or defense like 50-100.
People teleporting across a map hitting eachother once every 7 seconds is so boring to me. They should have no-enigma pvp servers, take it back to the old school

It's definitely not a favorable fight, but it's still playable. At least in high level duels having Enigma allows you to play around the mistakes of positioning, if the opponent is too passive or too aggressive, you have to see the opportunities. But in low level duels (49/30/...) it's painful for the necro.
