This Sears in Burbank, CA is scheduled to close soon permanently. The reason being that it's rent has been raised, according to an online article. We visited on October 10, 2022. We had never been in that Sears before.
As of October 2022, this is One of only Four Sears still open in California, and One of only Two Sears still open in Southern California. We bid a reluctant farewell to Burbank Sears.

Hi! I didn't know that was the last day of business. Perhaps the sadness will be for me too overwhelming as they shut the doors (I'm getting a knot in my throat right now.)

Funny, the one I visited most was the Boyle Heights location, and I didn't have a chance to film it because I didn't even know they were closing. One day my dad said, "You know they closed Sears (in Boyle Heights?)" And I was surprised.
